Comments about Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Foam:
I have been dying my hair red for about six years now. It's very long, large curls, and quite thick. I had been using John Freida's Precision Foam Color, but decided to give Garnier a try. After all, their dye was the first I'd ever used, and I've been around the hair dye block quite a few times! Unfortunately, I had no choice but to compare the two, and this just doesn't even come close.
It made my hair gritty and sticky, expecially at the ends. I can't stand when dye makes your hair feel like straw! Though the color was nice, I couldn't forgive the way my hair felt.
The squeeze bottle was way too difficult to use with dye all over your gloves. I promise, you'll hate it. Especially if you've ever tried John Freida!
Look, when it comes to the realm of home dye jobs, I highly suggest spending a couple extra bucks and going with a higher quality dye.

Great product, covered grays. Will use again since going to salon is too costly every 3 weeks. Easy to apply and the conditioner is amazing.

Comments about Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Foam:
I'm naturally medium brown and had never dyed my hair in my life (I'm 27), but I recently decided I wanted to drastically change it without spending money at a hairdresser, so I picked the Soft Black shade. (First I had picked up the regular Nutrisse in dark red, but hated the color, so I got it out with Color Oops and gave drugstore hair dye another try...) I definitely recommend two boxes if your hair is longer than your shoulders. Also, be prepared for a mess if this is your first time using foam; although it says "no drip" it is really only to an extent, and I did end up staining parts of my toilet black. That said, the foam is super easy and fun to use, and it makes the coloring process so much less tedious. After dying, the hair is slightly dried out (as should be expected with ammonia-based haircolor) but after one or two deep conditionings, the health of my hair was restored. The color I got was neutral black with some hints of dark brown highlights that are very natural looking and help prevent the "one dimensional" look. I love that the color is so flattering with brightly colored clothes and jewelry, in a way that no other color in the world is! Weirdly enough, I can no longer find this color or the darker blue-black shade in any drugstore or on the Garnier website... I wonder why they would discontinue their only black shades?...

Comments about Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Foam:
I love garnier hair color. I've never had a problem with it. This hair color for some reason was not the same color as the picture. I dyed my hair and it came out black leaving my roots a red tint. I was not impressed with this hair color and will never buy it again.

Comments about Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Foam:
Love the foam! Easy to use. Much less messy than traditional at home hair color products. Color was rich and hair was soft. My second time using this product and def will again!
