Comments about L'Oreal EverStyle Alcohol-Free Curl Activating Mousse:
Specifically purchased this because it claims it is non-drying! My hair felt like STRAW after my first use! It was SO bad I wondered if I'd done something wrong! I rarely bother to offer negative reviews but this was SO horribly disappointing, it warrants the extra minutes to share with others! I totally recommend avoiding this product!!!! I am saddened as I was so excited by the claims....... Please let me know if you have a different result?!?!?

I use this product on my curly hair. It does not contain alcohol, and does not dry out my hair. It has given me perfect curls every time I've used it, unlike other mousses which are hit or miss depending on the weather.

Comments about L'Oreal EverStyle Alcohol-Free Curl Activating Mousse:
This product smells great, but that's about it. My hair is pretty curly naturally and this product brought it down to barely wavy! It felt light and non-greasy when I put it in so I had high hopes. I was sorely dissapointed. Also if you apply in wet hair, it leaves your hair feeling very rough and dry. The feeling mostly goes away after it dries though.

I got this product after I saw a review on it on Youtube. As a black female, its always trial and error for what product will help, especially if you have naturally curly hair. This product was good for holding my curls, it didn't become hard it keep my curls soft and manageable. Its perfect for to use on wet hari or even to use as a touch up for dry hair.
I'm addicted :)

Comments about L'Oreal EverStyle Alcohol-Free Curl Activating Mousse:
I have naturally wavy, un-colored hair. I have tried all types of curling mousses/sprays: JF Frizz Ease, Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly and Paul Mitchell's Extra Body Sculpting Foam. I had noticed that I was getting a lot of split ends despite the fact that I rarely ever blow dry my hair. I figured it might be due to putting in these curling mousses in all the time and thought maybe trying an alcohol-free product would help do the trick.
I like this curling mousse, but not sure if I have really used it long enough to see if the alcohol-free aspect is making that much of a difference. I don't like how sometimes (maybe I put too much) it makes my hair a little crunchy. I always notice it looks best almost a full day after putting it on wet hair. So, when I use this product I wash my hair at night, apply product, sleep on it and it looks great in the morning once it's had time to settle.
I personally think it smells great and even leaves my hair smelling good a full day or so later.

I use the product daily. Once my hair is slightly damp, I scrunch the product throughout my hair. I finish with some hairspray and I have big, natural curls all day.

Comments about L'Oreal EverStyle Alcohol-Free Curl Activating Mousse:
Awful. I have medium coarse, somewhat thick hair with loose (3a) botticelli type curls. Dries my hair out while it's still wet! Worse than using nothig at all. Filmy, sticky and gross. No hold, no curl formation, no clumping. And the scent, oh man. Super strong, it's all I can smell.

Comments about L'Oreal EverStyle Alcohol-Free Curl Activating Mousse:
I decided to try the Loreal EverStyle Curl Activating Mousse...lets just say, the company went overboard when they added the fragrance. Not only is it extremely strong and pungent, it is a cheap smelling fragrance. It literally smells like cheap 1970's perfume. I actually had a coworker ask if someone had recently spray air freshener...it was MY HAIR! They need to calm down a little with the fragrance and find one that isn't so cheap. I mean really...Air Freshener?

Comments about L'Oreal EverStyle Alcohol-Free Curl Activating Mousse:
My hair was still very frizzy, curls were not uniform like the product claims. My hair looked awful until completely dry but, if I blew it dry vs. air dry to save time it got super frizzy. Either way hair was frizzy. Claims 24 hour curl hold, I wish!!! Basically the product did the exact opposite of everything it claimed. Hair also felt weird, not soft more of a weighed down feeling.
