Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream:

I started using 1% prescription retinol about a month or two ago, and my skin has been dry and flaky most days, even though it is summer. I remember my grandmother used this cream all the time, and decided to give it a shot. It works! I have used expensive creams, pure olive oil, pure vaseline, and Cetaphil, and this product put them all to shame. Definitely not for those with a bit of dryness--I consider this the 'big guns' for dryness, and I think it would be far too oily for someone with moderately dry skin. Worth a shot, since it is inexpensive, and if you don't like it on your face, it works well as a body cream.

If you have dry, flaky skin, this is perfect for you. I am acne-prone but this doesn't make it any worse at all. This is the ONLY moisturizing cream that really hydrates my skin. This will get the job done.

I've been using this for a month on my skin I don't see a difference, it doesn't clog pores or anything. I think it works for people with particularly dry skin everywhere, but I just have dead skin on my face I was hoping to prevent. it's not a bad product, but it's not for me either, it just didn't solve my particular problems

Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream:

I have combination skin. I bought this because my cheeks and nose area tends to get really really dry. When i first applied this i put it all over my face, i didnt even think to look at the ingredients to see if it was going to be oily. Well it was soo oily and it looked horrible. However it did a great job moisturizing my dry spots. I dont use this as an everyday moisturizer, i will use this at night after i get out of the shower and just put it on the areas that are really dry. It doesnt have the best smell it kinda smells like old lady/baby lotion, it is also quite thick. So i reccommend using this at night before going to bed.

I have very dry skin. I would also have dry , flaky patches on my face when I used foundation. I knew something had to be done. Enter Ponds Dry Skin Cream. This has been the best thing that has happened to my skin. I use it in conjunction with the cold cream and it has basically cured my dry skin. HIGHLY recommend!!

                    Has Potential

Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream:

I loved how moisturizing and luxurious this cream is, but the scent was very old-ladyish (don't know exactly how to convey this, maybe the word "dated" is better), and the cream made me break out. I found little red spots the next day, and they were slightly itchy. Looking at the ingredients, which I should have looked at earlier, it makes sense. This products has great moisturizing potential, but...
