Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

I first saw this color on a nurse at my dr's office, loved it and went out to buy it the same day! It's easy to apply and isn't so bold that it won't match everything! So far, the only thing that isn't so great about it is that it doesn't last long. That could be my own mistake in applying it however.

Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

It goes on so easy, and is long lasting. I love the colors, they are very classy. The one thing I really love about London polish is it is so easy to remove. no extra rubbing or bleeding onto your cuticles, it comes off easy and clean!

Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

I tried this color because the sales person raved about how long it last and the high quality but it isn't any better than OPI. Or any other nail polish for that matter.
I honestly, don't understand why its so expesive. In fact, it chips quicker than OPI

Really nice color, between red and fuchsia. Perfect on the toes or hands.
I like that the applicator is small so I can be precise on the sides of the nails withouh smudging it.

Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

Love the colors in the Butter line. It is a little pricey, almost 2x's the cost of OPI, so I wait until Ulta has it on sale. The application is flawless, the colors are beautiful, and it wears for 2 weeks without having to touch up the bolder or brighter colors at the tip of the nail.

          • Annoying Lid
          • Chips Easily

          Best Uses

Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

Pros: Gorgeous color range and great pigmentation. The formula goes on easily and makes it easy to get a nice, even coat. Dries quickly. Three free (but could be five free, which I'd prefer).

Cons: Chips quickly. :( Dear (meaning pricey). The lid is really irritating. For the uninitiated, you have to pull off a square cap, which has nothing to do with anything except design. It's just there for that square look. Underneath it is a small, serrated, twist lid which holds the actual brush. You can't sit the brush down on the cap (upside down) like you might think you can, while you paint your nails.

Summary: I got a bunch of these on sale, but I wouldn't go back and pay full price. The colors themselves are beautiful for sure! In one coat, I nearly get the look in the bottle. Two definitely gets me there. Gorgeous, unusual jewel tones. Love that! The polish goes on neatly. My polish usually chips pretty quickly, but I've found that some brands hold better than others. I have an adorable Halloween mani that I created with the Union Jack Black (googly eyes). I did it Thursday. Today is Saturday, and it's pretty chipped up already. However, I did a mani a few weeks ago using the Toff and that one stayed quite awhile. I used the same base and top coats. Not sure what was the difference.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and I will enjoy these colors and this polish, but I wouldn't purchase it at full price.
