Comments about Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 35:

I have combination skin and this clung to every dry spot on my face. It will even out skin tone but the coverage is awful. You could see every imperfection. I was going to keep it as a primer but couldn't get over how dry it was.

Nice product, but it's a light coverage BB cream. I was hoping for something with better coverage so I could eliminate foundation from my beauty ritual. Won't be purchasing again.

I have been using this bb cream forever- it's simply the best. I have oily/combination skin and this foundation helps control the oil but still moisturizes. It's light coverage which is all I'm looking for- just something to help even out my skin tone and disguise redness. Also, it's a huge bonus that it has broad spectrum spf protection.

Comments about Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 35:

I have mixed feelings about this product. On the one hand, it looks super on and is nice and light and easy to apply and I LOVE the matt finish. It makes my skin look really great. The problem I am experiencing is it is making my skin incredibly dry - even with a serum and quite a rich moisturizer applied underneath. I do tend towards dry skin but I haven't experienced such dryness with other products I have used.

The 'fair' color is very pale. I have pale skin and even I find it a bit of a shock to see how pale I look wearing this product. That being said, I am also pants at doing make-up and I'm sure those who are more skilled will be able to warm it up and make it work.

On balance I would recommend this product, with the caveat that some people may find it drying.

I purchased this as part of the Try It Kit in fair. I like this product but would like to know if this or the CC cream is better for my skin type. I have oily skin that has minor acne scarring but i do have a lot of redness, especially in my T zone. Would the BB or CC cream be better for me?

To correct acne scarring, we suggest using Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Dark Spot Correcting, which visibly fades existing dark spots, sun spots and post-acne marks:

Both products are suitable for oily skin, and both will help to reduce redness.

Camera Ready BB Cream is great for all seasons and improves skin moisture in 4 weeks, guaranteed, though if your skin type is dry, we suggest using a moisturizer prior to application of BB Cream. Smashbox does not provide exact wear time, since this may vary by skin type and environment, but it is formulated to be very long lasting!
