love it

By marlss27

Comments about Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 35:

Reference : normal- combo skin I'm in the shade light/medium. I feel in love with it since the fist time I used it. It's best with beauty blender!! I love it make my skin look younger and hydrated. I use it when I go to a special occasion and I get compliments all the time on my skin. Plus it holds for about 4 hours at max . But again it's a bb cream not a foundation. I used the try it kit first before actually purchasing the full size. I recommend doing that because you get a primer halo powder which helps the bb cream last even longer ( which I love :) ) gives you an extra hour or two wear. I don't really wear makeup like that or foundation like that. Plus I don't have any blemishes that I need to cover so this works perfect for me :)

I did not like this product at first. It seemed a little difficult to blend all over my face. However, after using it a second time I grew to love it. The color lasts all day and is awesome when you blend it with a powder on top to finish it off. So great!

Used before my foundation. Its a great base. Good for moisture and evening skin tone. It's just pricey for a BB cream. It's like $7 more than my Mac foundation.

            • Staff Expert

              A:

This product is formulated for all skin types. It controls oil and minimizes shine, but it is not designed to treat acne. If you are seeking an acne-fighting primer, we recommend Photo Finish More Than Primer Blemish Control, which is formulated with 2% salicylic acid to help eliminate blemishes and keep skin clear:
              http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod5580075

You can certainly layer CC Cream over Blemish Control for a clear & flawless complexion.

Camera Ready BB Cream is great for all seasons and improves skin moisture in 4 weeks, guaranteed, though if your skin type is dry, we suggest using a moisturizer prior to application of BB Cream. Smashbox does not provide exact wear time, since this may vary by skin type and environment, but it is formulated to be very long lasting!

Is this BB cream oil free? I LOVED the oil free tinted moisturizer that Smashbox used to make but they stopped when they came out with this product. It this truly oil free? No just without "mineral oils" but ANY oil? The oil free tinted moisturizer was one of the best products I have found - color, texture and it never caused me any breakouts. I'm just about to use up the last of the tubes of it that I had stocked up on when I heard it was going away so it's time to start thinking about as new one but I am concerned about break outs.
