Comments about Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 35:

This was given to me as a gift from a friend makeup artist. The shade I received was a little too dark for me so I have to blend it, but this is a great product for just giving my face a clean feel and a good base for the rest of my makeup. It's a little bit heavy, but blending it with a brightener helps out a lot. Goes on well with a brush or fingers. Make sure you put a mattifying powder on when you're done because it can get a little shiny. Pairing this with a good primer goes a long way as far as durability and longwear are concerned. I'm glad I got a small sample size so I could make sure the color was right first! I'll get a shade or two lighter next time, but I will for sure purchase this again. My skin feels soft and bright.

Now that I am getting a little older I am starting to realize that you should invest in your skin! At 27 years young, I think I have found the perfect BB Cream! It's lightweight, but provides just the right coverage I need! I am prone to breakouts on my chin and to redness in my cheeks and this was excellent for both!

I normally never review a product. I tried this as part of the "kit" and instantly fell in love. I have gone back to purchase the full size of the BB cream, the BB cream for eyes and the Halo Powder (my favorite!). Next I will be going to get the primer!

Medium/Dark is recommended as the most suitable shade for those with medium-to-dark complexions such as yours. This shade can be tested at your nearest ULTA Beauty store to ensure it is your perfect match:

                      A:

This product is formulated for all skin types. It controls oil and minimizes shine, but it is not designed to treat acne. If you are seeking an acne-fighting primer, we recommend Photo Finish More Than Primer Blemish Control, which is formulated with 2% salicylic acid to help eliminate blemishes and keep skin clear:
                      http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod5580075

You can certainly layer CC Cream over Blemish Control for a clear & flawless complexion.

To correct acne scarring, we suggest using Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Dark Spot Correcting, which visibly fades existing dark spots, sun spots and post-acne marks:
                      http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod5220125

Both products are suitable for oily skin, and both will help to reduce redness.

Camera Ready BB Cream is great for all seasons and improves skin moisture in 4 weeks, guaranteed, though if your skin type is dry, we suggest using a moisturizer prior to application of BB Cream. Smashbox does not provide exact wear time, since this may vary by skin type and environment, but it is formulated to be very long lasting!

I use Ulta BB Cream in Dark and I used to use Smashbox Tinted Moisturizer in Medium until it was discontinued. There are now more shades in the SB BB cream than there were a year or so ago. What would be the best shade for me?

Is this BB cream oil free? I LOVED the oil free tinted moisturizer that Smashbox used to make but they stopped when they came out with this product. It this truly oil free? No just without "mineral oils" but ANY oil? The oil free tinted moisturizer was one of the best products I have found - color, texture and it never caused me any breakouts. I'm just about to use up the last of the tubes of it that I had stocked up on when I heard it was going away so it's time to start thinking about as new one but I am concerned about break outs.
