This product works as well as more expensive products I've tried and it actually does fill wrinkles instantly. It makes fine lines "vanish" and deeper wrinkles are A LOT less noticeable! It doesn't last all day, but it can be applied over makeup as well for touch-ups. My daughter watched me apply it and said "WOW" when she saw the results!

I was watching one of the "beauty gurus" that I'm subscribed to on Youtube and was instantly intrigued by the product. For a while, I've been searching for a good primer to use in my daily make-up/skin care routine; I have tried primer samples of higher end brands, but can't seem to justify the price. Anyway, I read the ingredients in the store and saw that the main ingredient is dimethicone (and in turn, silicone), and that instantly made me a little skeptical; I predicted that this product would clog my pores. But nonetheless, I wanted to try it.
Ultimately, I used it for about three days, and had to stop: of course the product made my skin feel "smoother and velvety" due to the silicone in the product, but the dimethicone definitely broke me out. Essentially, dimethicone is a silicone oil that creates a barrier (e.g. has coating properties) on the skin for reasons such as retaining moisture. However, that coating property increased breakouts, especially since I am susceptible to acne (with very sensitive skin!), creating more scars AND made my skin drier. The artificial coating on the outside of my skin trapped everything under it, including bacteria, sebum oil, and other impurities; thus, leading to a plethora of pimples. I was really bummed that what I predicted, happened.
I highly suggest that other women/men use nourishing ingredients that will actually help keep your skin hydrated, naturally. I honestly believe ROC Instant Smoother will not and never will improve MY facial skin, since it has no beneficial ingredients in the product what so ever; everything is synthesized in a lab-setting to have a façade of giving me "smoother" skin. On top of all of this, dimethicone is a non-biodegradable chemical (meaning, it's bad for the environment). Needless to say, I returned this product. Real bummer.
Side note: This product MAY work for those with Non-sensitive/"Normal" skin. Of course, do your research before you buy anything. Cheers.
