I used it everyday for about 7 months and see no difference at all. I have a dark spot on my cheek that's either from sun or hyperpigmentation due to being on the pill. It didn't fade even the slightest bit.

I have a problem with shiny skin and this serum seems to help my face stay matte-looking all day. I use it with the SPF 30 Youth Code Day Cream. I like both products. I was going to return the serum because alcohol denat is one of the ingredients, and I know this isn't good for skin. I decided to try it anyways as I have used other products that contain the same ingredient with no problems. I'm glad I tried it, I really like this product. I use it morning and night on clean skin before moisturizer.

I am African American and it's really hard to find products that work for African American skin. I have tried products that have lightened my skin but didn't necessarily remove the dark marks, I even spent over $200 on the signature Avon Skin Care line. I went to Florida and my face tanned around my hair so I had light marks where my hair was covering my face and you could see a stripe down the left side of my face my skin was totally uneven, I hated it and was frustrated because I couldn't find nothing to even my skin and remove the tan stripe down my face. I was in the grocery store and saw the Youth Code product and decided to try it, I had low expectations. After 30 days days I noticed the stripe and skin around the strip had lightened up after 60 days I noticed a definite evening out of my skin tone without making my skin lighter. I have been using it for a year now and my skin tone looks better than it did when I was younger. At times people think I am wearing foundation, lol. I love this product and totally recommend it. It's part of my every day skin care regimen.

I have sun spots, acne scars, etc. ... the first day of using this my skin looked noticeably more even. And my skin did look more luminous! Amazing! I have rosacea and worried it would aggravate redness but it seems to calm it. I only use it at night, after cleaning with my Clarisonic so it goes on super clean skin.
