I was really looking forward to using this product as I've had success with Sally Hansen before. Not with this top coat, though. I tried to use it 4 times, and every single time the polish stayed soft for hours. I would go to bed five hours after doing my nails, and it would have sheet marks. It would also dissolve the colour as I brushed it on which is exceptionally frustrating when you just spent an hour doing nail art. Already returned it. Very disappointed.

Have only used product one time as a top coat and it lasted all weel!

I just purchased this Sally Hansen "Salon" Manicure Top Coat and it has got to be the WORST top coat I ever used. It took forever to dry and then an hour later it STILL was not complete;y dry because it left all of my nails w/ smudge marks! Now I have to get my nails done over. Will go to the drug store today and return it.

I've gone through a few top and base coats now: this one is disappointing. It's glossy, and I love the size of the brush, but I've used it with three different colors/brands, and it did not prevent any of them from chipping after the first day. I used another Sally Hanson polish, which seemed to do OK, but was used with an atrocious base coat, so they pealed off completely after only two days. Then, I used it with Midnight Cami from Essie. I had weird sheet marks from doing my nails 2 hours before bed, but I could live with it, since the color was dark. However, I was leaving blue streaks all over the envelopes I was folding! The same thing happened with ORLY red. This means it's not drying properly at all. I wonder if perhaps it's an old bottle/expired (I bought it at BB&B...dunno how often they restock their nail stuff), but either way, after my other disaster with their Hard as Wraps base coat, I think I'm done with Sally, now. Sorry, Sally!

I tried to use it twice, once after waiting over an hour for nail color to dry, and the second time waiting 24 hours - to ensure nail color was completely dry. Both times as a brushed the top coat on, it started to dissolve the nail color underneath and caused bare spots - also could see the nail color on the top coat applicator brush. I think you have to use a very small amount and brush it on in very few quick strokes, but for the most part could not get it to work well. Very disappointed because I purposely bought this because it is Sally Hansen and have had good luck with similar products in the past.

My nails are really weak, polish never stays on for more than a day or two, this product has kept my manicures perfect for up to 10 days. Love it!

I used as a topcoat for a french manicure. I usually use Out the Door, but this had great reviews, so I purchased it. I let them dry for 3 hours before going to bed and still woke up with sheet marks. It just did not dry to a hard, protective finish.
