It seemed nice to apply. I haven't changed my diet or anything else and my nails have gotten to weak since using this product that they keep breaking and are so short they hurt.

This product made my nail color chip immediately and horribly. It chipped during the first day I painted my nails. I returned this item, and I got my money back--thank goodness. It did a decent job of hiding ridges, but it ruined my manicure. When I said chip, I mean it chipped on the nail bed--not on the edges.

I used this product as a basecoat under china glaze polish. I wear gloves at work, and the polish lasted a good week. That included wearing gloves for 2 12-hr days at work! The smoothing basecoat is not 100%, and it says it isn't. It works better than other ridge-filling basecoats I have tried. It doesn't need to be thick, and doesn't peel off.

I used this as a base coat, as it's intended, after filing and prepping my nails, including wiping them down with alcohol before applying, and it still peeled off within 36 hours of application.
