I was surprised how easy the white pen was to use. Great looking French manicure. The top coat is a clear color. Looks great!

This was a horrible store bought manicure. The strips leave behind a sticky residue and are too long causing them to stick to other fingers. The instructions really did not make sense. The french tip applicator pen is very cheap, almost reminds me of White Out.The pink polish is extremely thin and goopy and it chipped in two days time.I also had a very difficult time removing this product from my nails.i will just pay a few more dollars for a salon professional to do my nails nest time.

This is the easiest french manicure set I've ever used and it lasts for a long time. Touching it up after applying the white part with a paint brush dipped in nail polish remover cleans up any uneven lines. That's what they do in the nail salon.

Comments about Sally Hansen Diamond Strength French Manicure Pen Kit:

The clear coat was okay, though it took a while to dry. The polish color is pretty, but streaky, which is kind of expected of a light shade. It takes a long time to dry and it does not even itself out well. So to get opaque coverage with the polish would take probably 3+ coats, and with the extra dry time and the extra time you have to spend to even it out, it would take forever. And when you remove it, it's GOOPY in a strange and off-putting way that I don't experience with other nail polishes. Really weird.

The French tip pen is awful. The ink/polish that comes out of it is extremely thin (NOT opaque), and the felt tip of the pen causes streaks in your tips. It also does not layer well. When I was done with my tips using the pen, it looked like I had used white-out to paint French tips. The only positive thing I can say about this is that it removed easily.

The instructions do not make sense. You are instructed to stick the tip guides on your nails, to paint your nail tips, then to paint your nails with polish. Polish gets under the tip guides, even after I thoroughly ensured that they were stuck firmly to my nails. Also, the tip guides leave gooey residue on your nails after you peel them off.

I don't know how it wears. My first attempt resulted in a big mess when the nude polish got all over the French tips (I followed the instructions). I tried it again with the polish first, then the French tips. The combination of the long dry time on the streaky polish, the residue from the tip guides, and the white polish bleeding under the guides into the colored polish caused me to remove everything again. Finally, I tried with just the pen (I was not enjoying the polish). I thought maybe I could salvage the manicure and at least get French tips and a clear top coat. As previously mentioned, it was streaky and not opaque. For a similar effect, purchase a bottle of white-out and use it to paint French tips on your nails. I removed everything right away.

In summary, I do a much better job free-hand painting French tips using white nail polish (using the brush that comes with the polish). It takes 3 swipes, and you can clean up your mistakes with a cotton swab dipped in nail polish remover. Or if you want tip guides, you can purchase better for less money. Save your money and don't go for this gimmick. Mine went into the garbage. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.

Comments about Sally Hansen Diamond Strength French Manicure Pen Kit:

I think this product could've been better. The instructions were very confusing. I think the pen should be used after the nail color, because when I tried to put the nail color on some of the white turned pink. There should be more strips and the strips should be a little shorter because when I put them on they were just sticking together Other then that I think the product is really good.
