I use this brush to put on my pressed powder. The powder clings to it nicely and I get an even application with it. Much better than the brush I was using which didn't hold the powder on it.

I tried to use this brush to apply blush, and it practically fell apart after the first use. The bristles were stiff and clumps fell out almost immediately.

I keep this retractable kabuki in my travel makeup bag - which I use nearly every day on my commute to work. I have a "lazy girl" natural makeup style and it works well for me because It's compact, easy to use for every day and special occasions, and lightweight. I have never used a kabuki brush before and I am very happy that this is my first experience because it's a great one! I use it to apply powder and to finish off my look after applying eye makeup to smooth out any shadow that may have settled on my cheeks or under eyes. It's a good value for the price! My only wish was that it had real hair bristles - but I'm fine with what it has because I don't want to pay a fortune for another type of brush.

I honestly didn't like this at all. I wanted a new brush to use for powder foundation, blush, and bronzer, but I'm really not liking this. It is too stiff and small for my taste. I should have just bought a cheeper bigger brush. The powder hardly comes off of the bristles and it isn't good at blending or spreading. I wouldn't recommend getting this.
