I have fine hair and this hairdryer is the best. I don't have damage and I use this hairdryer every single day. I bought my first one almost 6 years ago and after much wear and tear (traveling and dropping) it did just die. I probably could have fixed it but I used the opportunity to buy the new pink one. I would not use another hairdryer.

So I have had this hair dryer for a few weeks and had used it many times here is what I have found:

It dries medium thick hair that has multiple layers (ranging from chin length to 4 inches past the shoulder) in about 5 minutes. My main gripe with this dryer is that it is is so powerful it tangles my long hair easily unless I use a brush while I blow dry so drying my hair upside down for extra volume is difficult especially trying to run my fingers through to keep it from tangling while I dry it.

However, that is something I can live with because this dryer is fantastic in the dry time, quietness and I actually like the placement of the buttons, makes easy on the fly changes for cool shot and warm to hot changes a cinch. My hair is smoother and softer since I started using this dryer 3 weeks ago. Definite thumbs up.

I purchased this hair dryer a few weeks ago, and I am very satisfied with it. I have very thick, curly hair but love a straight look about once a week. This blow dryer dries my hair very quickly! If I had someone to rotate a brush for me I probably wouldn't even need a flat iron. This dryer gets very hot but doesn't burn my hair. It does not make my hair frizzy either, and I haven't even been using much hair spray. My hair stays straight throughout the day. Not sure if it's the dryer, the new styling lotion or perhaps a combination of both. My only complaint is that it is a tad bit heavy, but for the results I get I will get used to it!

Didn't like this dryer at all. I used it for about 4 months before returning it. The hot air just turns off for no reason and won't come back on for long periods of time. The on/ off button is in a location tha you will frequently accidentally shut it off. It also tangled my hair due to the air speed. It does however dry hair very quickly. You have to be careful to hold it pointing your hair in the right direction or it will be all knotted all over the place!
