This product is great for curly and wavy hair. You don't need a lot to hold your hair all day. It works better in humid climates than any thing I have tried. The smell is not bad either.

In the past I didn't use hairspray very often; maybe 3x a year...but this was my product of choice for those times. I recently moved to a very dry climate, and there are days when this spray saves my curls. In this climate the air can get so dry I shock myself when I touch anything, and I can see sparks when I pull my blanket back to get into bed at night. The dryness makes my hair poof as though I've back-combed it, and my hair feels like it's lost its energy. Ouidad Styling Mist seals in curl-creams/gels and sets curls on damp hair, so the curls aren't as exposed to the dry air. This spray can also revive curls that have gotten frizzy. If the spray dries crunchy, a little Botanical Boost helps smooth everything out. After spraying I use my fingers to reshape the frizz, and I get great hold. I have to wash my hair more often when I use this spray, because my hair feels a little sticky after sleeping in it, but this is an effective product for when my hair needs a lot of hold. I've used this product for years, and it seems that the most recent bottle I have doesn't smell as strong as my previous bottles. It still has that sultry clove scent, but it's lighter and it doesn't seem to linger in my hair like it used to. Possibly this is due to the climate change for me, but I must say I prefer the lighter scent.

This is what I use when I really need hair to stay in place. It has the most unique smell (cinnamon?) and has a slight shine to it. Nobody really likes hairspray, do they? But if you need it, this one is key.

Perhaps I used too much spray but this product was like most others, it created a hard, brittle hold.

It is very sticky! My fingers stuck to my hair immediately after spraying it on. The odor is disgusting and lingers almost until the next wash. After experiencing several other Ouidad products that I LOVED, this product is very disappointing.

I liked the hold but it made my hair sticky. Other than the sticky part it is a great hairspray.
