my original experience with this product was at a Ouidad certified salon. I now use it biweekly at home. As previously mentioned it's imperative that you follow the instructions regarding heat.

I got a free sample of this with another Ouidad product, the Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel. I'm glad I didn't pay money for it. I just used the 12-minute miracle for the first time, and where I hoped/expected it would leave my hair hydrated, strong, and silky, it instead just left a sticky residue on my hair. The instructions say to leave a bit of product on the hair, which I generally do for most conditioners or treatments to help protect against blow drying. But when I saw/felt how sticky and heavy it left a section of my hair after blowdrying, I went back and rinsed it again. Still, very tacky and heavy. And I don't notice any improvement to my hair's strength or appearance. Maybe after a couple of days it'll soak into my hair a bit more or rub off as I brush it, but overall I'm not thrilled with this one.

This has been a staple in my hair care routine for more than a decade. I have tried countless other products before discovering this gem of a deep conditioner and, yes, periodically I do try others simply because I consider this product to be expensive.
But I ALWAYS come back to Ouidad's Deep Treatment: there's nothing out there by any manufacturer in the US (or Europe since I've lived there, too) that gives me the same results.
This is why I can say this is THE best deep conditioning treatment for my curly hair! I always recommend it without any hesitation. :-)

I love this 12-minute deep conditioner. I use it once a week. My hair is curly but not frizzy. It won't make your hair greasy. I'm getting lots of compliments on my hair. I use the shampoo, conditioner, and this deep conditioner.
