This product smells like port-a-potty. It did nothing to boost my roots. Made my hair look greasy and weighed down.

Spray it to your roots and use a teasing brush to add volume to your hair. You can use it with hairspray and it won't get sticky. My hair is fine, and I like to add volume to my roots for "bigger" hair. If I want it to last longer throughout the day I will have to pair it with a stronger hold hairspray. Smells great, and has given me compliments when I started using this. It worked for me.

I got this as a free sample and love it, back to order more. I roll my hair in big rollers (have curly/frizzy hair with Keratin smoothing applied)and spray this at the root of each curler. It is awesome for my bigger hair look!

This is good for those who want a subtle lift. You'll need to use hard holding hairspray to keep it through the day. Best for fine hair. Make sure you know how to create lift with you're hair tools when you use this. Recommendation...use medium round ceramic brush. Pull section of dry hair straight up with brush, keep brush taught and roll down to scalp,spray root lift at shaft/root of hair, use hair dryer (warmest level you can stand)and keep on area until dry the immediately press the "cool shot" button on the dryer for 10 or so seconds...VIOLA!

I gave this 3 stars instead of 2, because I have used worse products. It does smell nice & is light plus I value the Alterna brand in general due to healthier ingredients. However - I have thin straight hair that needs volume and this just did nothing for it. Maby it would work better for someone with thicker hair that needed less boost.
