Using similar Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology that dermatologists use, you can now get professional-quality results in the privacy and comfort of your own home for a fraction of the cost and none of the hassle. Light-based hair removal technology has been used safely by medical professionals for over 15 years and numerous studies have demonstrated that long-lasting or permanent hair growth reduction is possible with proper use. Unlike most at-home hair removal methods, IPL doesn't cut, burn or pull out hair, but instead works below the skin's surface to disable active hairs and prevent new ones from growing.
How IPL Works:
- Light energy is generated by a Xenon flash lamp and applied to the skin by a handheld device.
- The light targets the melanin or pigment in hair follicles, gently heating them and disrupting the growth cycle without damaging the overlying skin.
- To protect the skin, unwanted rays are safely filtered out, so that only light within the desired therapeutic range is allowed to pass through.
- Within a few weeks of your initial treatment the hair will begin to fall out and results should improve over time!
Why even consider paying thousands of dollars for in-office laser or IPL hair removal treatments when you can own the Remington I-LIGHT Pro for less than you'd likely pay for just one office visit? Set yourself free with the Remington I-LIGHT Pro!
2. Test: Test skin in the intended treatment area to ensure it is not too dark to treat.
3. Flash: Treat the desired area with the i-Light Pro according to the directions in the Use & Care Guide. Perform three treatments every two weeks initially and then only as needed.

Comments about Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System:
I bought this in hopes of removing my unwanted hair. Nowhere did it say that it is not recomended for people with dark skin until I got the box. Apparently it causes blotchiness. It was easy to return only after the sales lady made a rude and inapprpriate comment. This is typical of the Ulta in Brookfield, WI. They are not professional nor customer service oriented. This has happended severeral times to me. They no longer will be getting any of my business!

Comments about Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System:
Started the first treatment on lower legs in the middle of May and on my second treatment as of 5/31 and see a significant amount of hair growing slowly. I am excited to see the end result!
Comments about Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System:
Only when I received the product did I discover (1) you can NOT use it on your face, and (2) it will NOT remove gray of white hair. I feel it is being advertised falsely and want ALL potential custumers to know in advance what it's limitations are.
Comments about Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System:
I purchased my i-light pro a few months ago. I have done 5 treatments so far, and although the hair is still not completely gone, there are more hair-free patches than not and the hair that does grow is much finer than before. I only have to shave once a week now, instead of daily. I think that after a few more treatments, I will be hair free! The only problem I have with the system is unlocking it. I have VERY pale skin, but it still takes four or five tries to unlock the system. Otherwise, I am COMPLETELY satisfied with my results so far!

I got this only about 2 weeks ago so I've only used it once but it's fairly easy to use. It's too early to see results but I will definitely keep using it to see what happens.

Comments about Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System:
I really like the product. I can see results after I have used it. It nice to have this home system instead of paying lots of money at a salon. I am going back over places where the laser institute missed so I can be completely hair free. Remember that you will miss some spots, that is to be expected but at least you can do it in the comfort of your own home. I recommend you shave the parts you want to laser for better results.
Comments about Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System:
I agree completely with kay-kaye review. I have been treating my underarms and bikini line only and I am almost out of flashes. It works but it is tedious and takes many more treatments than they say. I have alternated between these two areas one week underarms next week bikini for 10 weeks now 5 for each area and I see improvement but not perfection.
Comments about Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System:
I have used this product since Jan 2013 on my legs and underarms. I am a white female over 50. I have a medium skin tone with course hair on my legs. When I received the product in the mail I immediately watched the CD provide and read the manual. I was excited to try it out. I shaved my legs, decided to give it a try. I started the session at level 1 and at times would move it up to a 2 or 3. I found it to be as describe as a rubber band snap. The care of the unit was easy to include cleaning of the lens often during my sessions. I found doing my knees was awkward and decided to focus on my lower leg and underarms. With the initial light bulb that came with the unit, I was able to do my underarms and lower legs 3 times (every 2 weeks) before having to replace the bulb. I did not find much discomfort at these settings. I was starting to see small result on my underarms and possibly on my lower legs. When the bulb needed to be replaced I thought I would try a stronger setting to see if I get better results. I increased my setting between 4 -5. I could feel much more intense zaps and at times had to lower the setting. By increasing the light level I was feeling a higher / intense zap. I noticed the higher setting appeared to be helping my underarms but still was unsure about the results on my lower legs. I did 1 session with the high setter. Since I could not tell if it was really doing anything on my legs, on my next session I decided I would try just one area on one of my legs and then do a comparison. I only got one row up my leg by my shin when the bulb went out! I truly do not believe I even got 300 pulses off the new bulb! The higher setting must really degrade the bulb at a faster rate. At the rate of 300 pulses, I will need to buy so many cartridges that it is not worth its money. I have had a consult with a local laser hair removal company and get my lower legs and the rest of my underarms done for $600.00. The only thing I would be missing is not having the convenience of doing this in my own home and on my schedule. On the website video it clearly states each cartridge will give 1500 pulses and will give up to 3 body uses before needing to be changed. The longevity of the bulb is Very Miss Represented! When I use the light settings of 3 and below I might get 900 â€" 950 pulses. This is FALSE ADVERSTISING !!!!!! Don’t be fooled by all the reviews. Remember, the company has employees who also write reviews. Let’s face it, the company wants to sell a product and the employee wants to stay employed! I understand the product is not a professional level product. However, the website clearly states in the video that you will get 1500 light pulses per use. This is false ! ! ! To get full value of taking the time and effort for results of this product you will need to invest in multiple cartridges. This increases the cost of this unit significantly. When the consumers invest in a product, they want a return for their money with a true and honest product. They also want a company to stand behind their product and not mislead the consumer as Remington is doing. The only way I would speak of this product is to say it appeared to start working. However, buyer beware of the initial cost is a start up fee and all the additional cartridges you will have to buy you will be in for a very large overall cost of a product that may or may not give you the results you are looking for.
Comments about Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System:
I researched this product before I bought it and it is as good or better than I expected. It is incredibly easy to use and I have experienced little or no pain. It has been a breeze compared to waxing. I have only used it twice so far and I have noticed a decrease in hair growth. I am hoping after a couple more times to see even more improvement. I am the kind of woman that could shave twice a day. What a drag. My legs are smoother than they have ever been.

Comments about Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System:
I bought this product almost 3.5 months ago from Ulta store as a last resort. I am generally not a hairy person in my legs, underarms etc, however, in recent years I have been having dark stronge hair growth on my chin. I did many things to get rid of it. Going to electorlysis (lady did it almost damage my skin permanently, achne in every rooth she treated. Bad vision took her 60 min to finish the job which she charged me for time so I left doing that), laser at dermotologists (expensive and they recommend me to not to pick the hair with the twizzer after the treatment, that did not work for me, since I am very light skin women with dark chin hair shaving was not an option), waxing (picks hair from any where I wax, except on my chin because hair was course and stubborn), I even used home electorlysis(useless machines), gel-versio thing useless, and even ant cream that I found online- useless. Finally I decided on this machine-it is a miracle. I did not follow the instruction completely I must say. First, instructions says don't use on above your neck area, I used with putting on sun glasses. First two weeks I used twice a week, based on my hair growth, than next 4 weeks I used only once a week and pick the hairs up with tweezers. I used the level 5 and went the area once and returned back to same area again second time, second time hurts little bit but not much and redness did not stay that long, no irritation. At the end of the first month I would say 60-70% of the hair was gone. Now I almost finished my third month, I do touch ups, 1-2 times a month for 2-3 hairs left(thinner and lighter). Now, I have seen the success on my chin hair, I am going to work on the under arm, above my feet and bikini areas. Booklet says it is affective for 6 mnoths. It is okay for me, even if the hair cames back after 6 months I will continue use this machine (I hope it never comes back :))
