It's expensive but worth it. My skin made a great improvement when I started using a few different products, so I wasn't sure it was this. But I tried going without this for a few weeks and definitely noticed the texture of my skin was much worse. I will be keeping this in my skincare routine.

I started using this serum with La Roche-Posay duo acne treatment to treat my adult acne, some cystic, and fine lines. Within a few days, my skin was completely clear and feels noticeably smoother. I use the serum after washing my face, let it dry for a few moments, then apply the duo and a bb cream for oily/combo skin as my foundation. My skin looks better than it has in years. I had used another brand with salicylic acid as the active ingredient, but the La Roche-Posay line is much more effective for me.

I have had severe adult acne ever since going off the birth control pill the past almost 2 years. I also have extremely oily skin. I have tried everything! From prescription products from the dermatologist to everything over the counter including Proactiv. Nothing had worked. I had found La Roche Posay online in the past but no stores around me sold it until I went to my Ulta store about 3 months ago and they had begun carrying it! My face is completely acne free since using this line and all I have left are some dark purple acne scars that are fading due to this serum! I cannot live without it. I use it twice per day, in the morning after I cleanse in the shower with the Effaclar Purifying cleanser and get out of the shower this serum is the first thing I put on my face. I then follow with the Effaclar Duo and then the Effaclar M moisturizer. I cannot say enough raves about this product line except for that I wish I had tried it sooner.

Noticeable results within 2 weeks. My skin was smoother, brighter, and acne scars became lighter. I've been wanting to try a glycoclic peel at home, but I'm too afraid to do something drastic to my skin so I opted for this serum since it has glycolic in it. I'm very pleased with this product.

I have only been using this product for a week and my skin on my cheeks feels tighter. I haven't noticed my pores shrinking yet, but my presumption is that after a few more weeks they should be less visible. It works great mixed-in with your normal moisturizer in the morning.
