I bought this recently at Ulta since I wanted a bag to fit my makeup and brushes in when I travel as well as bottles to hold my shampoo, conditioner, etc. When I got this home and took out the bottles, I realized they are over 3 oz. and that means I won't be able to take them on the plane with me (I planned on taking the bag on the bag with me instead of keeping it with my checked luggage). The bottles also seem very cheap and look like they would break easily.
I am going to be exchanging this for something else.

I'm giving this as a 'requested gift' for my soon to be daughter in law; she does a lot of traveling in her job. I'm sure it'll be put to great use.

I love the see through storage area. Perfect for my Bare Minerals! The zippered see through mesh area is perfect for my makeup brushes. I love the fact that I can store the little shampoo bottles in the front area but I wish there weren't pockets for the bottles there because I don't travel often and would love to use that area for more Bare Minerals products. Love the bag overall!!

I actually bought this as an art supply caddy, wanting something more stylish than a plastic tool box. The zippers open easily so that the bag can lay flat with 2 pockets completely visible. The front pocket is very functional with elastic bands and mini pockets to hold the supplied plastic bottles, but in my case they're great for pens and let me store my pencil case. The only plastic container I plan on using is the one for soap, since artwork does get messy; saving the other containers for future use. The overall depth is tight, less than 1.5 inches, one pocket barely holds two flat pencil boxes (totalling about an inch width) with a few other supplies on the side. The plus side to the snug fit is that my supplies aren't floating around, so for now it's worth the effort to keep it packed full.

The shape of this bag is perfect for packing and traveling. It's compact enough to fit well inside a suitcase or bag, but spacious enough to fit all my beauty needs! I'm subtracting one star because the bottles included are quite cheap, and several of them split while I was trying to get them open.
