Tips for the longest-lasting manicure:
- Be sure your nails are free of lotions or oils before application.
- Be sure that your nails are completely dry before application (wait 10 minutes after you wash your hands).
- Keep Activator and Gel-Color away from your cuticles during application.
- Be sure that you apply the Gel-Color while the Activator is still wet.
- Cap the free edge of your nail by running the Activator and Gel-Color along the nail tip.

I bought this in hopes that it would last longer than nail polish. With regular nail polish, I only have to redo my toe nails once a month. This didn't even last 2 days and it was almost impossible to remove. It chipped and split by the 2nd day. I'm very disappointed. I thought it would definitely outlast regular nail polish. I'm not overly picky as long as my toes look cute at a normal standing distance. This couldn't even do that. Don't waste your money.

I used this product for the first time yesterday, and I wish I could upload a picture of how terrible my nails look right now. I had to apply 3 coats, due to the streaking. I cleaned the brush between each application and followed the directions. My nails never completely dried. Now, 15 hours later, they are still tacky, lint is still sticking to them, and I can scrape it off with my nail. I'm going to remove it the minute I get home. After reading other reviews, I'm worried it's not going to be easy to take off. This product is going in the garbage!

OK, I'm convinced all of these negative reviews are because people either didn't apply correctly or their nails were not completely clean when they applied. I am in my 2nd week of trying this the first time and do not have one single chip. They look as good as they did the day I applied the polish! So, I love this stuff. It works great - you just need to follow the instructions correctly, make sure your nails are dry and clean.
