The beaded elastic ponytail holders are very pretty & feminine, but hardly have any "give". I used a plain black band and threw my hair up then had to cover with the beaded ones just to be able to wear them. They are pretty, but my hair is very thick and I was disappointed I couldn't use them by themselves. I wondered if they'd slip down my ponytail because of the beads, but my second attempt--the elastic (more like slightly stretchy string) busted under minimal pressure causing beads to fly all over my bathroom. The highlights are that I had a bead hunt game from my countertop to inside my bathtub so my toddler couldn't eat them and that was fun, but best of all I saved a trip to the craft store and my daughter has more beads for making jewelry!

Only some of the hair ties held up better than others.... The others worked well but were the average looking ones

I have the reversed angle bob haircut and I am thinking about growing it back out, but its just to that point of getting it back into a pony.

These bejeweled lovely hair bands were perfect for High School dance hairstyle. Just the right amount of polish without going over the top to too formal. Noticed there was only (1) set left in the bin so knew they were popular!
