Comments about John Frieda Loose Curls 1 1/4"" Curling Iron:

This is a very bad product and I wouldn't waste my money on it of I were you. This is beyond a rip off. I own many curling irons and this one and brand is the worst i have ever tried.

Comments about John Frieda Loose Curls 1 1/4"" Curling Iron:

My hair is naturally very tight spiral curls. I wanted something that would create looser, softer waves. Upon speaking to a woman who works in the salon at Ulta, she recommended a ceramic iron with a 1 1/4 or 1 1/2" barrel for my hair. Upon looking through the available selection within my price range I decided to give this curling iron a shot. I got it home, gave it several minutes to heat up (although it says it only takes 30 seconds) and when I went to use it, it straightened my hair more than anything. The few looser curls it did produce were limp, lifeless and didn't hold. I wound up returning this iron and purchasing a Hot Tools iron which works much better.

I was looking for a good quality curling iron without the big price tag. I'm so pleased the sales person recommended this John Freda curling iron. My hair is double processed - the result is beautiful.

Comments about John Frieda Loose Curls 1 1/4"" Curling Iron:

I have naturally curly hair, but I had been using smoothing products. I wanted curly hair for a special occasion, but my curls fell out very shortly. That never happens to me!! Not particularly sure if that was due to the smoothing products or the curling iron, but I had had my hair curled by my stylist a few days prior while still using the smoothing products and the curls lasted two days...

I have long wavy hair.. even though I used the blowdryer previously I tried and tried to curl my hair and it would go flat. I tried it again the next day with air dried hair and the same no difference. Returning it.

Comments about John Frieda Loose Curls 1 1/4"" Curling Iron:

I needed a new curling iron but didn't want to spend a lot of money. There are so many to choose from but felt this was the best value when it came to quality and price. My thick hair is hard to curl. But this curling iron was easy to use. Heats up fast and doesn't burn my hair. Curls come out soft and look natural and healthy. I can easily curl all my hair in about 10-15 minutes. And I've got a lot of hair!

Comments about John Frieda Loose Curls 1 1/4"" Curling Iron:

I have fine hair and my hair slid through the clip/iron making it very difficult to curl. It heated quickly, as promised. I think it would be wonderful for someone with thicker hair.
