Life is your set. Stay flawless for 15 hours with this photo shoot secret to picture perfect skin. This long wearing, hydrating formula blurs imperfections using light diffusing spheres and delivers natural-looking, buildable medium-to-full coverage while keeping skin hydrated and shine free all day. Sweat and humidity resistant. Transfer-proof and oil-free.
When applying foundation, always start in the center of the face (around and on the nose). This is where skin tends to be most discolored, so a little extra care here will help even out your complexion.

Wanted to try a new foundation (I normally use HD Forever) I really like it but its not as easy to apply. Need a very damp beauty blender and I'm going to try using some maracuja oil with it tomorrow. Great coverage!

Comments about Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation:

MY SKIN :( I am 20 years old (no wrinkles yet!) and suffer from recent adult acne prone skin with large pores. I have very dry and sensitive skin, and to top it off I have a skin tone that I feel is hard to match. I am right in between medium and tan with a very yellow/golden undertone. The medium shade can end up being lighter than I would like and tan is almost always way too dark. The closest match I was suggested to try was shade 2.3 and its a tad lighter than my skin tone. Originally I was on the search for a full coverage foundation when this was recommended by an employee for my dry skin. I am still on the hunt for that holy grail foundation but I did like this one so far. For one thing its very light weight and doesn't transfer even without using setting powder. If you suffer from dry skin, the way this foundation dries you are probably better off skipping it anyways. It does have buildable light to medium coverage, however if you are struggling with acne this doesn't cover it. I use this with a primer underneath and it does last several hours. For my job I have to do TONS of talking, hence a lot of facial expressions and movements. This product barely creases in my smile lines and lid/under eye after several hours and holds up very well against sweat and humidity. As far as the "hydrating" factor goes I don't really feel anything hydrating about it per say. It doesn't cake up, magnify my large pores, or accentuate dry/acne spots either which is great. I'd say this is more of a matte finish than a dewy one for me. I usually use about two full pumps for my face and it blends nicely which a dampened beauty blender. I will say that this product will dry fairly quick once applied so you kind of have to work a little bit faster than normal when blending it out. As my last critique I really wish this foundation had a physical sunscreen. Over all I think this is a quality foundation and I would buy it again.

Comments about Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation:

I was really looking forward to using this foundation. Boy was I let down. It in no way lives up to its high ratings in my opinion.
I have a very difficult time having it conceal my blemishes and going on smoothly and having a nice finish. I've tried many different ways to apply it to see if that helps. Yet they all come out looking the same.
At the end of the day as well my face always looks very flakey and dry from it.
Most likely will go back to my cheap Revlon color stay liquid foundation & using MAC for my pricy one.

Hi There! We recommend applying the Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Foundation over a primer with a flat foundation brush. You can also use a sponge or your fingertips. Start at the center of the face and work your way outward.
