It helps to spread the product more evenly with your fingertips, but the issuance from the brush top is a great invention.

I purchased this after seeing a few YouTube videos and reading raving reviews from other users. I was skeptical since I tried the Age Rewind Foundation and found that it "slipped" around on my face and would be totally wiped off after a few hours. This product really worked well. I applied after using SB under eye primer and while I did dot it under my eyes using the applicator, I did blend the product in using my concealer brush. The results were wonderful. Normally I have to layer and set my concealer in order to get any kind of coverage over my dark circles, this worked in one application.
