Comments about Lorac POREfection Baked Perfecting Powder:

I've been using this powder for years and no other powder even comes close. I've even had Ulta employees ask me what foundation I am wearing. I have sensitive skin and this has always been soothing; it also blends like silk and covers really well. I have really fair skin and the "light" is a perfect match. It's expensive, but so, so worth it.

Comments about Lorac POREfection Baked Perfecting Powder:

I use this as a finishing powder over my BB Cream and tinted self tanner. I like that it evens out my skin tone and helps prevent shine without fealing heavy or unnatural. It doesn't leave any "lines of demarcation" which also makes it easy to apply in a hurry especally on the weekends. I orignially bought a lighter shade in the spring (PF2) to use when I don't have a tan and I recnetly bought a deeper shade (PF5) to use in the summer when I have/want more color.
It also hasn't caused any breakouts on me which has happened with some other similar prodicts.

I had my eye on this for awhile but I missed out on getting it during the Beauty Steals week so I decided to redeem some of my Ulta rewards points to get it & I am glad I did. I use it over my foundation to set it. It has a silky texture, buildable coverage & helps control the shine & mattifies my oily skin. I love that it doesn't look cakey like so many other powders I have tried. Lorac is one of my favorite brands. I will continue to purchase this product.

Comments about Lorac POREfection Baked Perfecting Powder:

I bought this during a 50% off special, and the price was just too much for me. BUT....it's amazing! I've tried every powder foundation out there- I want some coverage and do not want a liquid makeup. I apply this with a kabuki and OMG- LOVE. Helps with shine, does not break me out, lasts awhile, does not oxidize, and has great coverage! I've already purchased this full-price, as my color has changed for summer....and I will continue to spend the money. This stuff is worth it! Only con is that there is fallout and it's a bit messy- just be careful and/or use it over a towel. Buy this- you won't be disappointed!!!

I decided to try this powder foundation based on the well-known Lorac name. (I had previously used Laura Gellar's foundation for years.). I was amazed at how well this foundation went on and provided full coverage. It has a smooth finish and the color I chose blends very well with my complexion. It is my new favorite foundation!

Great product, I usually buy drug store brands, but have been upgrading my cosmetics lately. Bought this one during Beauty Steals week, my mom loved it so much she asked for one too. Don't worry that it contains talc, modern talc does not have the asbestos that it used to. Talc gets such a bad reputation for that. There are mixed results when it comes to cancers.

Lighter natural coverage when applied with a brush, and great full makeup coverage when applied with a sponge. This powder is so versatile and doesn't have that dull yellow look that so many have when applied heavier. My skin is sensitive and this never makes me breakout. I think it actually improves my skin's quality! I love it. I don't spend this much on any other makeup product.

Comments about Lorac POREfection Baked Perfecting Powder:

First I want to say - THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION.

So I'm not sure why some people are reviewing this as one and not liking the lack of coverage. It's a light to medium coverage or used as a finishing/setting powder.

Now ... onto the review. Love it, love it, love it! It's just what I needed. I have very oil skin in my t-zone spot, well, most of my face, save my cheeks that are supper dry and the bridge between my eyes.

So this does keep those spots from flaking and the rest from oil over kill (thank God - no one likes a hot mess coming at them!).

I do get the occasional blemish, pimple - whatever you want to call it. And all I do is use a concealer on those spots and then apply this powder. However, I do not always (like 90% of the time)need full coverage, I don't have uneven skin tone, red spots or what not. So this works great for me over my primer, eye gel and face lotion.

No grease, no crease, no muss, no fuss.

And the most amazing part is when I put it on, it feels like nothing but I can see it doing it's thing. And when I walk away and come back to the mirror five minutes later it's like magic! My face is set to perfection and it does look pretty darn close to bare skin.

Also - those pores that attack our cheeks? Say goodbye to those. Mine went almost invisible with this.

Now on those pesky days of my face hating me - full on red spots or stress induced acne, this does work well over my Urban Decay liquid foundation. I use to use smashbox but I noticed it would start getting caked towards the end of the day over my few dry spots and we can't have that ladies.

So this is a wonderful light to medium coverage or finishing/setting powder.
