I own over 70 red lipsticks (I know, it's a problem) from over 40 different brands, and I can tell you that Ulta's Lipstick (203 specifically) is my favorite. I keep buying 200 and 203 in fear that they'll discontinue the line the way they did their previous one. I get compliments on my lips all the time -- I use 203 daily. It's fabulous!
For long-lasting wear, follow these steps:
1. Dab on a lip balm, rub your lips together, and then remove some of it by pressing the back of your hand to your mouth. This very thin layer of balm will act as a bonding agent, as well as prevent the lipstick from running.
2. Apply one coat of lipstick, then use a tissue or napkin to blot the excess lipstick.
3. Apply a second coat. Blot again.
Et voila! You'll have lipstick that will last you at LEAST 7 hours, through drinks and snacks. I do it every day and it hasn't failed me yet.
Ulta, you can never discontinue this line! I have no idea what I'd do.

I loved this lipstick! Its the first red lipstick I have ever bought and I am very pleased. It lasts like any other lipstick, if you drink from a glass it will come off. But, i haven't had a lipstick that didn't. I will definitely buy this again when mine runs out. And I like this lipstick for a date night or for going out at night. On my skin tone (fair) it really pops!
