My first one died within two months. I thought it was a lemon and I really liked how fast it dried my hair w/o the frizz so I purchased another one. It died after 6 months of use. Very Poor Quality for the money I spent.

I bought this dryer about a year ago. Although it is an expensive dryer, I bought it for the Chi name thinking I was getting a higher quality product. It was a fairly good dryer during the year I have used it, but in the middle of drying my hair the dryer just stopped working and will no longer turn on. I really expected a better product that should have lasted longer. I will not buy this brand again!

Tried this and liked i at first. My husband insisted on getting it for me, he wanted me to have a nice dryer when my hot tools one died out of nowhere. Though it was heavy and loud, it left my hair shiny, soft and frizz free. My hair is thick and coarse and past my shoulder blades, so i need a lot of air power and heat to dry quickly. This didnt come through. The heat stayed steady but not hot enough for my hair. I also never knew when the ions were on or off,there was a switch but no on/off label or indicator. So i had to wing it and trust the ions were working. Still looking for a new one, but thanks to my angel of a husband, i can now find a good dryer for my hair that will last.... otherwise I would never have spent this much on a dryer...

I actually bought this for my daughter. After reading the reveiws I figured I better try it out because it had some great ones and then some really bad ones. Well I love it so much that I will buy myself one. It dries really fast without drying out your hair. makes it shine! It takes about 5-6 minutes on my long middle of back straight (keratin) hair. This is the best dryer I have ever owned! My only complaint is where the buttons are. It's right where I wrap my fingers around the dryer and I had to get use to it so I wouldn't accidential turn it off.

For someone who spends a good deal of time drying curly thick hair, this hairdryer is awkward and seems heavy.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I recieved this blowdryer as a christmas gift while I was attending cosmetology school. Although this blowdryer looks super cool bcause it changes colors, dont let it fool you! It died in my in the middle of blowing out one my clients hair. For the price you pay, you do not get a quiet, light weight blowdryer. The concetrator and diffuser are almost inpossible to switch out, my husband could barely take them off. Also the cord is really thick and stiff which can be a pain in the butt if your a stylist!
