I bought this iron and risked a different brand than my normal hot tools.
Big mistake! It saysit get up to 450 degrees but I doubt that. Started to curl my hair and let it go and my hair was flat dull and not close to being curled. I will be returning it today and sticking with hot tools. Very disappointed

After reading the previous reviews, I was excited about trying this product. But once I used it, I was very disappointed. This curling iron made my hair smell burnt for about two weeks. I didnt have the heat high and didnt keep the iron on my hair long. So I didnt understand why it damaged my hair. My curls didnt even stay in place. Within a couple of hours they had fallen. It seemed like an amazing product, but I was fooled.

I've only ever curled my hair a handful of times in my life. I religiously straighten it, with a Nano Titanium straightener that I love. I recently colored my hair, the new ombré style, which is typically curled. So I bought this curler, same brand as my straightener and love it just as much. I would like to see how the 1-inch curler works in my medium length hair but I'm definitely a fan of this iron.

It would be nice if it had a auto turn off on the product. It also does not indicate when it is ready to use.

Nice curling iron. I've been looking for a 1 1/2 barrel that wasn't a Hot Tools brand (I have horrible luck with those, they always break on me). Found this one and used a coupon so got a pretty good deal. Its only drawback so far is that there is not enough at the end of the barrel where you would put your fingers to hold it. I've burned myself and have to be very careful where I put my fingers when I curl my hair.

It heats up quickly and stays hot. The iron does the job that it is supposed to do.

This iron slides smoothly down the hair shaft. I like that it doesn't squeeze so tight that it drags the hair.
