Started using Ahava hand products 6 months ago, I think it is the best hand cream you can buy. I just bought the body lotion and love it too. Not greasy, no heavy perfume, great result.

A little goes a long way! Starts thick but keep working it in your hands and it will feel like it magically turns to liquid and spreads. I can almost feel it penetrate deep into my skin. Nice subtle scent.

Comments about Ahava Dermud Intensive Hand Cream:

I received a 4 ml sample of this product and used the entire thing. That should be taken into consideration, as I have not tried this product longer term (and have no desire to). First and most noticeably, this stuff smells atrocious. I can see it being a fragrance others like and that's a completely personal thing, but it's strong. Despite only using it on my hands, this scent has serious throw and it smells like I drenched myself in cheap perfume. This also makes it impossible to wear another fragrance without it conflicting. You probably want to really love this scent and be okay with strong perfumes if you're going to use this.

The product itself (unfortunately not the scent) seems to wear off quickly. It's probably sinking in, and I like this in the sense that it's not just sitting on top of my hands. However, my hands look and feel like I never used any lotion at all.

The ingredients raise some serious flags, especially as a couple of the fragrances are known potential eczema irritants. Just because it's thick does not mean it's beneficial or effective.

Lastly, I'm all for shelling out a lot of money for a good lotion. In fact, I already do. I really can't believe they're charging this much for this product, though. It feels and works like a cheap, heavily scented clearance hand cream. I don't know how they justify this price despite the mineral muds and pseudo-classy spa font on the tube--the description even credits its moisturizing benefits to some of the cheapest extracts/oils out there.

Comments about Ahava Dermud Intensive Hand Cream:

I was extremely disappointed that after using AHAVA hand creme for years, the product has been changed. I tried this product instead, but was sorely disappointed and returned it. I did exchg. for the water hand creme instead of the mud, but am still disappointed. It now comes in 3 scents and I want the original. Sorry AHAVA, I'm switching to Mary Kay.

One of the best hand creams I've ever tried, and I've tried them all. If your hands have a tendency to be dry, itchy and have cracks, this is a good cream to try.
