Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
My old hair straightener decided to die on me the other day, so I decided to buy this one. After reading a few reviews, I thought it seemed like it would work pretty well. I soon learned that it works better than good, it's AMAZING! My hair will never be the same! This product does not pull your hair and it doesn't feel bulky while using it! It also adds beautiful shine to even the most dull hair! It is more on the pricey side, but it is definitely one of the best investments that I have made in a while! EVERYONE needs to have this straightener!

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
I bought a Rusk iron 3 years ago and it recently broke. I've heard mixed reviews about Chi so I decided to go with Rusk again because it lasted me forever and I love the way my hair came out. This Rusk Heat Freak is even better then my old grey Rusk. It's lighter and I love the way my hair comes out. It gets really hot really fast. Im hoping for the same durability as my last one and so far so good! It was a great but and I'm a Rusk girl all the way! It's bigger then the chi and I have thick hair which is great because I can do more then little single pieces. I would really recommend this iron for anyone who is conflicted on which brand to buy!

Love it, just wish there was a smaller version for shorter hair...better than any CHI I've ever had...way better & doesn't pull my hair like the CHI irons do...

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
I upgraded from a cheaper model. It is definitely worth the price. I can tell the difference in my hair. The only thing missing is the feature where it turns itself off on its own after a period of non-use. It is easy to handle and I make sure to unplug as soon as I straighten the last piece of hair.

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
This is by far the most amazing flat iron I've ever used! I've had a lot of flat irons...Chi, Hot Tools, BaByliss...And its trumps ALL of them! I actually a week ago bough a BaByliss flat iron (everyone told me its the best out there and its amazing - reviews online were great too) and it completely destroyed my hair! I tired it on multiple heat settings but nothing worked. It was also really bulky. I returned it today and got this iron and it took me literally 5 minutes to iron my hair! Its super easy to hold in your hand as well - very light weight. Don't even think twice about getting an other flat iron, this is the best one!

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
I have the Rusk Speed Freak hair dryer and love it, so I figured I'd give the straightener a chance. I have thick, medium length, wavy hair. After using it once, I had so many people compliment me on my "haircut," only it was just the straightener making my hair so smooth and shiny. It does not snag my hair at all (something I can't say about every other straightener I've used), and heats quickly. The only con, and not a bad one, is that it's difficult to get super close to my scalp. That's probably a good thing though; I don't want to fry my hair at the roots! Definitely recommend!

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
Works great! Doesn't take long to heat up and can be used to curl hair due to round edges. Heat seems consistent so it makes styling hair quick. I like to use it with my Nexxus Heat Protexx Heat Protection Styling Spray as well as my Nexxus Humectress Luxe Ultimate Moisturizing Leave-In Spray.

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
I straighten my hair daily, and needed a flat iron with multiple settings, was fast to heat up, and one that does not make my hair feel fried (I have fine hair, and having it feel fried has been a big complaint of mine with other flat irons). I researched many flat irons before purchasing; I used to own a Chi and have owned a variety of cheaper flat irons, none of which made me have a 'wow' feeling. This flat iron is very nice and I love how my hair looks after--smooths my fly aways and my hair is super straight. My hair actually stays straight throughout the whole day and into the next with this flat iron, which I cannot say the same for the previous ones I've used.
The only negative things I have to say is that occasionally it will snag my hair (not every use), and because only the 1.5" was offered it is a little bulky and therefore a little difficult to straighten my bangs (also, have not tried to curl my hair with it yet). I cannot comment on durability as I have only had it for a month. The big test will be this summer, as my hair likes to curl/wave with humidity. Hopefully this flat iron will continue to impress me!

I purchased a Chi in the past, and my last one stopped working after a year. I decided it was time to try a new brand after a friend recommended it to me. It weighs less and has a longer handle than a Chi so it took a little getting used to, but it works perfectly for my curly hair!

This was a great one! I brought it in my vacation and it was very useful! It got rid of my frizzy morning hair and my hair was straight most of the day. I really like it!
