AMAZING! I was using Mac black track for years and it would dry out and become hard to apply, I thought that was just how all gel eyeliners were but boy was I wrong!! This stuff is perfect and you literally can't beat the price. Better quality and cheap??? Amazing

I've had a jar of this in the black shade for almost a year now. I have about 1/5 - 1/6 of the container left. I wear this eyeliner, in different amounts, approximately 5 times a week. When I first purchased it, it was creamy and soft with a dark, rich black color. It glided on, smudged a bit initially (not very noticable) and then stayed put until taken off with make up remover (which almost completely takes it off, but not quite). Recently, over the past 3 months or so, I have noticed that the texture is clumpy and dry. It is difficult to get it onto my eyes because it won't spread from the jar onto the brush easily, let alone from the brush to my eyes. I find myself putting too much pressure on my eyes with my eyeliner brush in an attempt to get some eyeliner on. I attempted to stir the formula in the jar around this morning to soften it up, but it did not help. I will probaly try heating it up a bit before I use it until the jar is gone. I probably won't repurchase this because it's just okay, not is not great. I am going to try another cheap, cruelty-free gel eyeliner and see how that goes. If you plan on using this up rather quickly, it may not dry out on you. I believe the reason it dried out for me was because I have had it for so long, and I have accidentally left it out over night 2-3 times without putting the lid back on it. If you use eyeliner frequently/a lot of eyeliner, are new to make up, are young and just want something for school, or are trying out gel liner for the first time I highly reccomend this. If you want a flawless eye look and do not wear a lot of eyeliner/do not always wear eyeliner, this will probably dry up before you use it and will be ineffective and frustrating.

I used this eyeliner to create a winged eye. This did the job perfectly. I wore this to an all-night concert and it stayed on like a tattoo! It was hard to remove but that was ok with me because I needed staying power! For best results, try removing the eyeliner with a cream-based makeup remover.

Love this stuff, its very very true to color and stays on all day! Deff worth picking up for the price. My only complain is that I did notice a little bit of smudging by my tear duct. Still love this product though, they need to come out with more colors!!

This was my first time using a gel eyeliner, (i've used pencils and liquid) but for the price, I couldn't NOT try Essence gel eyeliner. My pencil seems to always fade and smudge throughout the day, and I could never get a concentrated enough color with a pencil. But the liquid liners I've used were either too defined, or they'd flake throughout the day. I was so happily surprised that this gel liner went on so easily, it looks professional, it's super long lasting, and looks just like when I put it on this morning, and the price was amazing! I just wish they had more colors to choose from. I bought the midnight black and the miami ink, and like them both. You could use this for every day or a night out, it's great. I will buy again.
