Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush:

I am usually a budget buyer, but in the case of what I put on my skin I am a brand buyer. I jump onto the ship of any brand that will protect my skin (has SPF, has good ingredients that won't clog my acne prone skin, will help my excessively oil skin stay matte, etc). I have tried Pur minerals, IT cosmetics, and Too Faced. Why they all have amazing ingredients and qualities, this brand is my soulmate. This brand works best for people with normal to oily skin and has excellent ingredients. I put it on and get so many compliments about my skin. They also cater to many types of colors. I like that there are so many color options, even ones for people who are not flashy. I have a very classic an natural look to my makeup and I am fair skinned, so I got "exposed" and think it's stunning. I am recommending this to everyone. Although it's not 12 hour wear for me as it claims, I didn't expect it to be. I am not lying when I say I am excessively oily, so no makeup stays on more than ~4 hours. This one does the same, but seems to stay matte longer. Love it!

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush:

I was hesitant about trying tarte blushes at first. The color i purchased was actually one of the colors in their poppy picnic pallet. It does have a glitter look to it, but applied, it has more of a matte/sheen to it. The color is very pigmented, (which I love) but a little goes a long way. You really can't go wrong with tarte

I absolutely love the color Glisten. The color works very well on my fair-light skin tone. It's very easy to add just a hint of color, or build it up for a bolder look. The shimmer is perfect for giving my flatter cheek bones a more prominent look without having to go crazy with any kind of contouring or highlighter.

This blush is amazing!!!!! It is sooo pigmented, and you just need the smallest bit on your brush to get the perfect flush of color. However, the pan rotates like the glue isnt strong enough to hold the glue in place, but other that that it's amazing! I can't say enough good things about it. It doesn't look cakey on the skin, the colors give your skin a natural flushed color/glow. It's completely worth every penny!!!!!

You may like Captivating (matte warm peach) or Tipsy (matte coral). We recommend visiting your nearest ULTA store to test these shades and see which one you prefer. Hi, I am African American with dark-brown skin and red undertones. I typically wear Naked lightweight liquid foundation in number 12, which has a lovely gold undertone, or the new matte powder foundation. I'm looking for a blush that has a balance between (slight) shimmer and matte and is a deep pink. Should I go for natural beauty? Oh, and if this helps... I have dark-brown hair and brown eyes. I typically wear more natural to golden/bronze color eyeshadows, and prefer neutral lipsticks and glosses. I'm going for powder instead of cream because I have combination skin (although my cheeks are rarely oily). Whew! That was a lot... Thanks in advance!

Natural Beauty would look absolutely gorgeous on you! Although it isn't shimmery, its rosy red hue would definitely add a lovely pop of color to your complexion and would be a great complement to the natural and neutral shades of eye and lip makeup you use.

The best thing about these blushes is that all are very natural looking and are buildable to achieve your desired depth/intensity of color. Plus, they are formulated for all skin types, and like all Tarte Cosmetics products, are free of any harsh ingredients. The Amazonian clay within this blush's formula helps to balance oil production - perfect for combo skin!

Another shade we'd recommend for you is Tipsy, which is a vibrant coral shade for a brighter pop on tan and dark to deep skin tones!

We hope this helps! Enjoy! :-)

Fearless (matte pink coral) may be the most similar shade. Unlike Stila's Custom Color Blush, these blushes do not adjust to the wearer's pH to create a custom shade. Similar to Stila's Custom Color Blush, these blushes are very natural looking and can be layered to create more color intensity.

All shades of Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush feature gorgeous, buildable color, so really, all of the shades you're considering could work well! Captivating would be lovely - peachy shades are always beautiful on fair and light skin tones! It is different enough from Tipsy, too, that it helps to expand your blush wardrobe! :-) If you're seeking a very subtle look, you may prefer Achiote, which is a very neutral soft pink shade. You might wish to test the shades at your nearest ULTA Beauty store to determine which one you like best:

The cream version is warmer in color, so we might suggest Tarte Airblush Maracuja Blush as alternatives for the same cream blush effect. If you're looking for color comparison, Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush comes in rosy shades such as Blushing Bride, Natural Beauty, or Dazzled. Dollface or Amused will be sure to complement a fair skin tone!

I am looking for a blush . I like peachy colors of blush or natural . Don't really care for pink. I have blonde hair, green eyes, and fair to medium complexion. What do you recommend?

If you prefer a subtle shimmer finish, try Peaceful, a soft nude peach shade. If you prefer a matte finish, try Blissful, a warm peach shade.

                                A:

This blush is formulated for all skin types and contains Amazonian clay to hydrate the skin naturally to restore moisture, reducing the appearance of dry, flaky skin. To further ensure perfect application, we recommend moisturizing and/or priming prior to application.

We recommend Tipsy, a matte coral shade, to add a pop of color to tan/deeper complexions with olive undertones.
