Does a very good job!! I love a straightner that leaves my wavy hair super straight. I got alot of compliments. Its not a very good at curling but I also think I just need to get the hang of it and get more practices. I am very satisfied.

I have thick, curly hair and was using a straightner that was over 10 years old and took me 1-1.5 hours to do all of my hair. The Croc heats up so fast and gets so hot, it works much quicker and is very easy to use.

It worked great for the 4 months it lasted, but now once again I have to go buy a new flat iron. This was my second Croc. The first one died on me after 13 months. This one died after 4 months. I only use the flat iron maybe 3 times a week. I'll never buy a Croc again.

I use the iron nearly every day. I've tried the Chi (which lasted about 4 months); the Corioliss (which just simply did not straighten my hair and made it frizzier); and finally after speaking with the Ulta consultant, bought this one. I could not be happier. It isn't bulky. In fact, it is extremely light weight and straightens my hair usually in one pass and does not snag my hair. It has 4 settings and heats up within seonds. It works even better if you use a hair product such as Chi's Iron Guard.

This is a great quality flat iron. It heats up quickly and fits easily in the hand. The buttons are situated so that you don't have to worry about accidentally changing the temperature or turning it off while you're using it.
I have very thick, kinky-curly natural hair (think 3c/4a) so it will work for black women. However, if you're natural, no flat iron will be a magic bullet if you don't use proper technique. Meaning, to get your hair bone straight you're going to have to iron in it very small sections. I learned this the hard way when I rushed through it and found that my hair was still very fluffy.

I really like it but if you have any products on you hair like hair spray, it's kinda hard to use. I have to clean it off.
