Heats super quick. Thinner handle makes it easy to hold. Lightweight. Works amazingly well. My daughters love it and can manage it on their own(12&14). So pleased with the product I can't say enough good things about it.

I had a cheap flat iron before and it stopped working. I decided to invest in my hair as it was getting snagged in the cheap one and fried. This was a great investment. It takes longer to straighten because the plates are shorter so I have to work with smaller sections of hair at a time but I also only have to go over each section once. I had to go over many spots multiple times with my old one. I love it. my hair looks shinnier and stays straight better.

Over the years I have tried various flat irons and found that most irons over time really just damage your hair, UNTIL I BEGAN to use this Croc Infrared!! It is worth every dollar. Leaves hair straight,shiny and overtime I have noticed that my hair is not damaged at all like with most flat irons. I read it stimulated hair growth and INDEED it does! My hair in the last year has grown alot plus I really love how it has heat seatings up to 450 and if I ever forget to shut it off it turns off by itself after it detects that no one is using it. This iron is a great prouduct for anyone who has to straighten their hair quickly, I have pretty long wavy hair and I can always manage to straigthen it in less than 20 mins! This girl is NEVER late to work!

I've always used CHI products over the years, and I decided to try a different flat iron to compare results. I have a lot of very long thick coarse hair. In less than 30 minutes my hair was completley straight. This includes the time it took to seperate my hair. It only took one pass, and my hair was left shiny and bouncy. I recently returned the Babybliss flat iron because it made my hair dull and dried out, and just damaged the ends of my hair. I love the Croc, and glad I made the switch.

I am biracial, half black and half white, and have huge, curly, coarse hair. I have spent lots of money on several different tpyes of hair straighteners to try to tame my hair. The croc infrared flat iron is by far the best. My hair has never been smooth or shiny until i used the croc. The texture of my hair is actually improved! Usually when i straighten, the ends of my hair are very frizzy and damaged looking, but even my ends look smooth and healthy now. Another issue i've had with other flat irons is that they will make my hair straight, but it will still be very poofy. The croc took the poofiness away, and makes my hair look like silk. The first time i used it was on a rainy, humid day when i was outside alot and it still didn't poof out. I am more than impressed!!

This product mostly got good ratings, so I cannot speak for anyone else but myself. I've always believed in quality products - so with paying more for quality you'd think you'd get quality, right? Well, it wasnt the case completely with the Croc Infrared. I should have known from the beginning when I noticed the the Croc company "dazzling" the consumer with its cool box (which is useful) to market us and mostly thats what the price includes is the sturdy box. But, I always give everything a try. It snagged my hair, especially where the infrared holes are, didn't run through my hair smoothly, it actually felt dry going through (and proof to show afterwards). It also didn't tame my frizz, it just uncurled them (if that makes any sense), and worse kinked my hair making it look unprofessional and unnatural. I had to go over small sections twice over. When my hair is thick, frizzy and wavy as it is, that is one last thing I want to do because in normal circumstances it takes me 45 min to straighten. Taking back and crossing fingers there is something worth the same spent. The pros that it does do flips and easily styles with that 1" length.

My hair is not to curly and it is thin but this was definitely more then a once pass through flat iron. Also you can see the way it is make with the infrared and it would snag your hair. Mine didn't even last a year. I just bought a salon Trend Flat iron, hope it lasts longer.

I purchased my Croc infrared Flat Iron a couple years back, been using it every week since, and it still works like new everytime to this day. I have medium thick curly hair and i also color my hair often, this flat iron protects my hair and leaves it silky smooth and supple looking. i get lots of compliments on how beautiful and healthy it looks for using a flat iron often. I think customers should learn how to use it properly before leaving negative comments on such a fantastic product. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY CROC INFRARED FLAT IRON, IT HAS RETAINED ITS VALUE OVER THE YEARS AND MY HAIR HAS BEEN LOOKING LIKE SALON QUALITY HAIR EVER SINCE I BOUGHT MINE.

I first bought the Croc Classic 1 1/2" flat iron and loved it but decided I wanted the 1" so I could have better control of my hair. I exchanged it for the infrared 1" instead of the classic 1" because I figured it would work better but I was wrong. I have fine, naturally curly hair and it didn't seem to straighten my hair well at all and actually made it look dried out after I was done. It did not have any shine and seemed to snag on my hair. I was so unimpressed that I went back the same day and exchanged it for the classic 1" Croc which I love so much better!
