I have extremely sensitive skin and often break out from shampoos, conditioners, and styling products. The Bamboo products from Alterna are fabulously friendly to sensitive skin like mine. I have very fine, wavy/curly, color treated hair. The conditioner is also very nice. And, it lasts a while because you don't need to use very much. Great product!

I use this product every 2-3 days with it's companion cream rinse. It has little odor and leaves my hair feeling clean with volume.

I have used this product in conjunction with the Bamboo Volume Abundant Volume Conditioner. The combination of the two really made an improvement in my fine, slightly wavy, limp, almost 60 year old, color treated hair. It has been a long time since I found a shampoo / conditioner combination that was dramatically different what I was currently using and I am a salon product junkie. Whatever the chemistry is in this product line, I will be trying other Bamboo Volume line products. My hair is my one vanity and this line is something special.

The combination of the shampoo and conditioner made my hair fuller, shinier, smoother, and style better.

I have used this shampoo for a few days straight and am in love with it. I've been using the matching conditioner too so I can't fully credit the shampoo for my hair's strength and softness, but using this shampoo is definitely a pleasant experience. SO much less hair comes out when washing and combing (I comb with the conditioner in). Works beautifully on my fine, oily, colored hair. Love the earthy smell too!

I wanted to try this because of the lack of chemicals and gluten. The smell is terribly strong and smells like a mans cologne. It's a big NO for me.
