I purchased this compact for my daughter. The price was higher than I thought it should be for a simple pocket mirror, but she was attracted to the design. Both she and I were disappointed with the flimsy feel and the difficulty in using the mirror, as the compact will not stay open, but rather just flips loosely on its hinges. It is now sitting, unused. The packaging is such that you have to cut it to open it, making previewing the product in the store impossible, and returning it impossible too. I can see why this is necessary.
