Very surprised by the good reviews, since this is one of the worst cuticle trimmers I've ever used. The two stars in the rating are for the 'Push' end, which is gentle, flexible, and effective. The trimming edge (on mine, anyway) is dull in the middle and sharp on the pointed edges, so it's easy to poke yourself with the ends but impossible to neatly trim your cuticles. It will pull a small hangnail all the way up your nail beds, about as effective as trying to trim it with your own teeth! I would recommend Revlon or Tweezerman over this item any day.

This one is just perfect: sharp, high quality, white point is kind of soft for tender push of your cuticle, plus this bright orange colored groomer is very easy to find in your tool box. I am sure this cuticle groomer will last for a very long time.

Good for using to push back, but the trimmer HURTS my nail! it pulls and made my nail bleed! NEVER BUY THIS!

The pushing end is fine, but the cutting device is a bit dull and can cause more damage by having to repeat the motion.
