This is SO simple to use, but I have to say, I insert it upside down according to the directions. I make a ponytail, twist it, insert the comb at the crown to the bottom of the ponytail, and wrap the elastic under the ponytail, clipping it on the other side. Makes a BEAUTIFUL ponytail!! GREAT for long, heavy hair. The only product I have used that does not give me a migraine after an hour. I LOVE THIS! It looks beautiful also....straight or curly. Bravo!!

I use this to keep my hair up while working in a lab. I have fine hair that normal clips fall out of and that is easily damaged by constant use of elastics. This comb is gentler on my hair and if I put it in properly it stays in my hair all day. The elastic it comes with is a little too loose for the volume of my hair, but the open hook allows me to easily replace it with a tighter one. I stocked up because I have had a few of the teeth snap on one from daily wear. I wish the combs came in more color options though.
