I wanted this product to give me lots of luscious volume, instead my hair was a matted sticky mess. I washed my hair twice and still felt like it wasn't all out. I thought this product was inexpensive but turned out to be a waste of money.

This stuff is da bomb! I have used BigSexyHair Powder Play many times and this stuff is better for a fraction of the cost! Make sure your hair is dry before putting on or it will clump together and get stiff feeling. I put it in my hands, rub together and put in my hair. Also, I pull my hair up and put a little right on my roots where I want volume. The scent is a bit funky but worth it!

This powder does indeed create a look that gives fine hair lots of volume. Your style will last for several hours plus. It does pump up any style & give it staying power.I just did not like the washing my hair every night before bed because my hair felt dirty & tacky side effects that went along with the use of this product!

I use this product where my hair is thin and it gives it more body. It does the job but is a bit sticky, but I can handle that.

Don't waste your money. This does not work. I bought this b/c my hairdresser used a similar product but a different brand, and I didn't want to pay $15 for it, so I found this one and it looked like it did the same thing, but for less $. Well, it didn't work and it left my hair sticky. I had to wash it out and do my hair all over again. I guess I got what I paid for.

Used a similar Aveda product once before, and this is comparable if not better, and much cheaper. I might try Sexy Hair Back Comb in a Bottle next time, just for comparison. But I really like to use this to give my hair some "grit" when it's too clean. I shake it directly into the roots of my crown and massage it in. Sometimes I also backcomb and then finish it off with some hair spray. Still experimenting to find the perfect routine, but really excited about this product.

it's great when you want the extra volume, you must apply straight to your roots and you can use your finger to massage it in, use a comb to comb down when adding volume to hair
