I followed the directions exactly however they were not clear on how much product was enough. The smell was not bad however my hair is so greasy that it appears fresh out of the shower wet. I attempted to wash it out the morning after without luck. I am hoping a few more washes will do the trick... My hair is frizz free and very soft and straight. I may have used too much product. I am unsure if I will try again.

I use this product for me and my daughter. It keeps my hair frizz free and soft while it perfectly straightens my daughter's curly locks. It's been the only product that works on her hair. It makes her hair very straight with lots of bounce and body and it lasts!

I used this product on AA curly fine hair. I have been natural for over 5 years and did not want to do a relaxer again, but wanted to try wearing tracks with my natural hair in a straight style. I love the way this product protects your hair from heat damage, it straightned bone straight! And for natural hair this was phenomenal! It is a little heavy on the hair for the 48 hour period that you have to keep it in. I will update this reveiw after I wash it out and restyle my hair. But so far, I am super happy with the results. It does have an odor, but the natural oils they use (coconut) does mitigate some of that, so it's not too bad. I did apply it in a well ventilated space, so no issues there. Product does not contain formaldehyde which is a plus...read so many review of people who lost their hair from that with other products...but I must say Organix has hit a home run with this at a fraction of the cost of doing a Brazillian keratin treatment in the salon. I will definitely use this product again.

I have three different African American textures. I am using this product while I grow out my perm. When I flat iron hair, you can't see the demarcation between my perm and natural hair. I am glad I have a product I can use, while I go through this natural process.

If you sweat, then u will have flat iron your hair again.

After reading the reviews I was anxious about using this product. My sister had tried a different brand of this same type of treatment and was raving about it. I finally got around to purchasing it and putting it in. The whole process took about 2 1/2 - 3 hours but was well worth it!! I think most people who had an issue with this product used way too much on their hair. For every two inch section, I used about a dime size of the product, making sure not to get it on my scalp but aiming for close to the bottom of the root. I combed it through with a fine tooth comb after applying it and could immediately see a difference.

After blow drying, there was a significant amount of residue on my brush but not too much on the hair. I used a flat iron that is meant for keratin treated hair and had the heat set to 450. I am Greek/Filipino so my hair is a mixture of thick and frizzy with unruly curls. Especially at the crown.

When I was finished flat ironing, I slept on it with no issues. Mind you, my hair is down to my waist but I don't move around a lot while sleeping. Over the next two days, I did my daily workout (without putting my hair up) and not even a single curl emerged from my sweaty bangs. I didn't even have to run a flat iron back through it!! Today, I had to wear a hat and ponytail holder to class for about three hours and it didn't leave a crease or kink anywear.

I have now had the product on for 72 hours and will be washing it out tomorrow. If I have a bad experience, you will most definitely hear about it. Oh, did I mention that I will be in Miami when I wash it out and restyle it? This should be the ultimate test. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product for getting rid of frizz. I have black hair so I can't say if there was any color change but I can definitely say there was no strange hairloss.

I tried EVERYTHING to get my hair straight without looking burnt or frizzy. this product is it for me . as long as they continue to sell it I will never use anything else . Everyone who knows me all had the same comments your hair looks great wow, what did you use , who did your hair ? NO LIES here I told everyone I know about this product and just bought 2 more bottles please don't ever stop selling this thank you new me !!!

I have extra thick curly hair and this product removes all the frizz and leaves it so soft...it also makes it very easy to flat iron. U must follow directions on the box for it to work and use the organix keratin shampoo conditioner and oil.

As a life long sufferer of dry, frizzy, curly hair, I like to try different products that might make my hair more manageable. I like this company's shampoo and conditioner, so I had high hopes for this product. I was slightly left down, it didn't do exactly what it was supposed to do. That being said, I wasn't completely disappointed with the results.
First, I think the box should make the directions a little more obvious, or add directions inside the packaging.I didn't realize I had to leave it in my hair for 48 hours until I looked it up online. Unfortunate for me, as I had to go to work the next 2 days with hair that looked and felt greasy.
When I washed it out, my hair completely curled up again. I had to go and straighten it again.
BUT, when my hair was dry and straightened again, I was amazed at how soft and smooth my hair was. I had no knots in it (which is huge for me), and it's the softest it has ever been. I can't stop touching it! It's a lot more manageable now too, it's easier to style.
The best advice is: don't go into this with high expectations. It didn't do what it claimed it would do. But I wasn't disappointed in it at all. And make sure you have a free weekend before you throw it in your hair, you have to basically become a hermit.
I think next time, I might try the 14 day one instead of this one, but I definitely am not turned off to using this one again.

Just used this product on my 16 yo sons shoulder-length hair. His hair in semi-thick and wavy, but frizzy. It appears to have worked well. Used about 1/3 of the bottle and blow-dried on warm setting. My flat-iron does not have a degree setting, just 1-10, but flat-ironed on about 7 for 5x each section. His hair is smooth and straight, although a little heavy feeling. It did smell a little like pumpkin innards, but definately did not stink. It did leave a few white flakes, but nothing bad. He loves it! It also made his hair look about 2 inches longer, which he loves.
From all of the other reveiws and our experience, don't use too much product on your hair and be careful with the heat setting on your blow-dryer and flat-iron.
Overall, we are satisfied with this product. I guess the real test will be how it looks after he washes it. Will post back after 1 week.
