Pros

  • Not Greasy

Cons

  • Not moisturizing

Best Uses

  • After Shower/Bath

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Oil-Free:

Although I have oily skin, I would expect a moisturizer to be a little moisturizing and I don't find this with the product. It's kind of thick and doesn't smooth out very well.

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Oil-Free:

It works ok but doesnt do well with my make up, seems to make my fair skin redder but does help with the dryness.
However I can't stand the smell and will be returning it. It's not worth the price or the smell.

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Oil-Free:

The not oil-free version of Hope in a Jar made my skin break out in my T zone. However, it hydrated my cheeks perfectly, so I tryed the oil-free version. I love it! However, it does has a weird smell, and it cakes up if you try to put makeup on over it. I use it before bed, and put on something lighter under makeup.

I love, love, love Hope in a Jar!! The only downside I can think of is that the Hope that contains sunscreen is a little on the greasy side, especially in the summer. But other than that, perfect :)

I have trouble with a very oily t-zone. I need moisture, but not too much. This face moisturizer does a great job so far! I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. Highly recommend the entire Philosophy line.

I've heard all the hype and now I've tried it. This moisturizer stinks, is greasy for an oil-free product and overpriced. Save your money and buy a nice drug store product like Olay or Aveeno. I've used them and they are much better.

I tried this moisturizer and wasnt sure if this or the Help Me was responsible for the change in my skin (for the better). The Help Me definitely is a factor but I didnt realize how much this Hope in A Jar Oil Free was doing for me until i ran out and was lazy about replacing it. My skin began to get congested againthe dry flakies appeared again. Will never be without this moisturizer again! Together they cant be beat.
