Once you learn to lightly "dab" this over your eye shadow, you will master sparkle. Can be diluted with a little more water once pigment gets too rich.
I prefer the silver version to the gold.

I read all the reviews and ended up buying a kit with this in it because the kit was the same price as one of these.
First of all, the bottle was only half full.
Second, I did everything everyone suggested. I shook it really well, then I put it (JUST a small amount) on a smooth surface (I used a mirror), and just dabbed it on my eyelids in a few ways.
I love sparkle, but I don't like GLITTER. As in, this was supposed to be more of a sparkle, the irridescant kind. I don't mind fine-milled glitter, I just don't like the chunky kind.
Mine was kinda chunky, didn't apply evenly (even when I did it witha finger, then with a brush, then with my concealor brush that is synthetic bristles). I did it with primer under, without, with eyeshadow beneath, and without....
And it was just underwhelming. I wasn't looking for wall to wall sparkle, but this was just... not what I saw all the hype about.
I'd rather use Too Faced's finely milled glitter and their glitter glue. This stuff, also has a slightly 'ice' blue undertone, just as an fyi.
It may be for some, just not for me. I'll get the look much easier without so many 'rules' for application and applying.

Over shadow love glitter everyday . Once you apply it for the first time and get a feeling for product very easy application just need very little of product and place or dab don't rub where you want to see the glitter.

I use this all the time. I put a small drop on a clean mirror and dip my finger in it so i can control the amount I use. I apply it just to the center of my eye lid for daytime and it gives just enough of a twinkle that people will stare into your eyes all day. They dont know what it is but you look great. for going out i will apply it to the entire lid over my eyeshadow. it makes whatever is underneath look fabulous.
