I usually use the Ulta tanning mitt, but the seams always tear after 2 uses so I bought this thinking it would last longer. I threw it away as soon as I tried using it and just ended up using my hands.
It would be fine for a flat surface like your thigh, but you can't rub it in well to curved areas.

Would really like the product more if is was longer and could reach the back area more easily. I have found only one other product like this and bought it awhile ago but it started falling apart, so this was its replacemen. Like the lightness and portablity of it for travel.

The sumnate quickly became one of those items I can't live without! I use it daily to apply moisturizer after my shower and it is an essential part of my beach bag. Perfect for applying sunscreen to hard to reach areas. I love the fact that it is so compact and light weight. Thanks Sunmate!

I use sunless products all year round and thought this product was brilliant when I saw it. Unfortunately, it did not work for me. I used as directed and the streaks it left was horrible. I did a better job just using my hands to reach my upper back. Great idea, needs work.

Doesn't really reach easily, the sponge is nice, it doesn't absorb all of your product. When I tried using this to apply sunless tanner it kept closing on me and didn't reach the middle of my back. Great try though.

I bought this to apply suncreen on my back where I always seem to burn. While it does open up for a long reach, there are plastic bits that stick out and scratch you if you aren't careful. Alas, I broke it with the 2nd use.
