Go out to eat....everyother woman reaplies lip color, I never have to.....love it for that reason alone. Would love a little more moisture though. I tend to apply, wake up in the am and apply over my existing color....I know I am bad but usually in a hurry.

I look for products that "STAY ON" all day without having to look and refresh. Just add some of the gloss and you are good to go again.

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor:
I have been using Revlon Colorstay for years. I really don't use anything else and when I do I am disappointed in how quick it wears off. I often have people ask what I use because my lip color lasts all day and looks great.

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor:
I was excited to try this product but was sadly disappointed. At first the color seems to be darker than the what shows in the tube but once it dries it tones down and is true to color. The down side to the gloss is that it dries out quickly and it begins to patch on the lips. It just did not work at all for me.

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor:
I love the all-day lip colors but for this to say 16 hour...I think it should be 8 hours. I am not one to constantly put on lipstick throughout the day so I thought this would be good for me. The colors are nice, the shade I chose looks great and the gloss stays shiny but it doesn't last. I think it is a good lipgloss for the money so I will continue to use it as I explore other options.

I've been trying to find a stay on that actually stays on and doesn't dry your lips out?

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor:
I've rated this before, but I've been through a boatload of lipstick since then so I'm gonna update.
Look, clearly one product doesn't work on everyone, but after reading so many reviews, I can't help but feel that maybe some peeps just aren't using this correctly. There is a secret to using this and getting it to last and so I'mma gonna share and HOPE it works for you as well.
1.) Exfoliate your lips using your toothbrush or one of those little, disposable lash applicators they have for free at cosmetic counters. Be gentle and just get any extra skin bits off so lips can absorb color evenly.
2.) Moisturize your lips in the evening before bed and NOT right before you apply this. This is a stain and waxy chapsticks and oily lip balms are just going to keep the color from adhering...so before ya hop in bed...slather on your favorite lip balm...or at least a few hours before you apply this.
3.) Apply the color in a single, thin layer. WAYYYYYY too much comes off on the applicator and so I usually slide it along the inside to remove any heavy color. I glide it along my exfoliated (previously balmed, now clean,) lips. Then, despite years of being told to smack our lips or blot...I do NEITHER. I just let it sit there and dry..and dry. I'm talking a good five solid minutes before I move onto the next step.
4.) I lightly mist my lips with Urban Decay's "All Nighter". You can use any setting spray. UD also has an amazing "Dew" one that moisturizes, so give that a whirl. That sets the lips PERFECTLY and if my entire face is done..my eye make up will last well into the wee hours and yes, survives naps, but I digress...
5.) THEN, I apply the gloss in a single, thin layer...and spritz again with setting spray of my choice.
6.) Leave them alone for a minute or two! DO NOT!! I repeat do NOT EVER blot with a tissue or pop your lips, rub 'em together...that doesn't work with this product. Letting is sink in and absorb the stain is your best bet.
Your lips should look FAB for hours and hours...even after a drink, dining, etc. It's natural to lose some color, but use the gloss instead and then and only then...you can smack and pucker all you please to get the color even. People always freak that my lipstick stays in place. Now, I have a few other favorite sticks and brands, but this is economical and perfect for when you need a long, wearing color and want a hint of shine. SO....stop smacking, get some setting spray and give it a whirl. Worse case scenario...keep a little moisturize cloth with make-up remover in a baggie or a portable packet and take it all off it it gets messy on ya. Sometimes, regardless of the lipstick brand, you need a fresh start to get lips right. Good luck and I hope this helps. It may seem like a lot, but it's really just about patience and technique. I get so much bang for my buck and so many compliments (and a spring in my step) that it's absolutely worth it.
If this doesn't work...sorry. :/ I tried!

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor:
I wanted to like this product so badly, It was the first all day color that is actually comfortable. Unfortunately for me the color cracks on the lips after about three hours. When I applied more product, it would create little balls on my lips. When I wanted to take it off, it proved to be near impossible to remove completely and I have to use make-up remover and scrubbing to remove it. I have used it with various lip liners including Revlon's own colorstay, MAC, Sephora, and Makeup Forever as well as alone and I have had the same cracking and balling Except with Makeup Forever the combination created a smudged crackle effect that was not attractive. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product.
