Pros

  • Heats Up Quickly

Cons

  • Container Is Bulky
  • Not Effective
  • Rollers Are Too Small

Best Uses

Comments about Hot Tools 20 Piece Hairsetter:

Because the rollers are so small, you must use all of them and may have to reheat some to finish rolling up you hair. The clips are difficult to put back in the box. They are unwieldy.

    Curls don't last

    By Christina

    from Killeen,TX

Comments about Hot Tools 20 Piece Hairsetter:

This product does get extremely hot. I've burnt my fingers a couple of times. I can deal with the burnt fingers, but I can't deal with curls that only last 2 hours (if that). For the price, I expected these hot rollers to be good. Epic Fail! Just to clarify, I've been using hot rollers for a while now and needed a new set. Spend your money elsewhere.

    Got Way Too Hot

Comments about Hot Tools 20 Piece Hairsetter:

I found that these rollers got far too hot before I finished rolling my hair. And the flocking is so thin that I found that they were not staying in very well, even with the clips. I have fine medium length hair and several of the big rollers are just too big. With they made a set with medium and small rollers.

Comments about Hot Tools 20 Piece Hairsetter:

I plug the rollers in before I take a shower. The rollers heat up quickly. Be careful to not touch the end that was on the heat element; it will be hotter than the other end. I roll my hair after getting out of the shower and leave the rollers in while I get dressed and do my makeup (until they cool). Once cool, I take them out and finger comb or use a pick to loosen up the curls. I have bouncing and behaving curls that last all day, which surprised me as I have thin hair and curls normally fall out before noon. I'm glad I bought this roller set.

Use a dash of hair spray on the section before you’re rolling it in the curler. Please remember to keep the rollers in till they are no longer hot as this will set the curl better.
