Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

This is decent polish. I have the color Molly Coddled, a nice orchid purple shade. It wore quite well and I had very little wear on the tips of my nails and no chips in a week of wear. It did take two coats before it was nice and opaque and it seemed to dry pretty quickly. However, I'm not sure it's worth the price tag. I get similar results with Essie or Orly polishes and they are half the price. The Butter London colors are also quite limited. I bought this polish as an experiment to see whether it was in fact better than less expensive brands. And my conclusion is that no, this polish is not considerably better than these lesser brands. And the color range is far greater with Essie and Orly. But for those who are sensitive to chemicals (I'm not) this polish may be just what you're looking for. The fact that it doesn't contain the 5 traditionally harmful chemicals certainly doesn't affect its wearability. So that's why I'm giving it four stars.

Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

One of my go-to colors for fall and winter. It comes out as an oxblood color on the nails; looks a little darker in the bottle. Application and smooth and fast. It drys fast too.

It chips a little after about 4 days on me but I get about 5-6 days of coverage that is acceptable and no staining of my nails after removal. I use the BL base and top coats and am usually clean dishes with gloves, but the nails still get the average wear with tapping on my computer all day and other household chores.

A little pricey for nail polish but absolutely worth every penny. Besides not having the usual chemicals that other polishes do, it's easy to apply and in my opinion lasts a lot longer than other products. My nails chip easily so this polish is a miracle worker for me.

Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

West End Wonderland and Rosie Lee are incredible. Butter London's formula for the "chunky sparkles" appearance keeps the product diamond-strong for days. I spend most of my day at work typing and filing and this nail polish did not chip for about three days (mind-blowing!). I layer two coats of this polish over my fingernails and it is completely dry within 3 minutes, to the point where I can wash my face or tackle housework. Astounding quality.

That being said, I swear by the sparkle polishes but the matte/smooth coat options did not impress me. Butter London's matte and smooth coat options behave like every other brand of nail polish - they chip easily and take FOREVER to dry. I will stick with my chunky sparkles for now.

I love using this color on my finger nails because it stands out. I tend to wear a simple color on my toes and then add sparkles on my nails so this is just perfect. Goes well with blue jeans and a white jacket.
