For use on dry or dampened callused, rough skin, you can use these dual tools anywhere. (Soaking feet in warm, soapy water first can help moisten hard skin, making it easier to gently reduce tougher calluses.) Start by separating the two sides, then comfortably and securely hold the micro-file in the palm of your hand to press gently against and glide around the contours of the foot. Start on the thickest areas of dead skin build-up or calluses and gently slide the tool back and forth to lightly remove thin layers of dead skin only, being careful not to "over-file" or file live skin. Pop off the face of the file to easily empty shavings and simply pop it back into place to secure it once more. Follow-up with the fine quality finishing file to buff newly revealed fresh skin to a silky-smooth feel. The finishing file can also be used on its own for ultra-gentle callus removal and buffing that helps maintain healthy skin longer between treatments. After use, both sides of the tool can be washed in warm, soapy water, air-dried and partnered again for portable, hygienic storage.
