Cons

Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

The only complaint about this product is that about 1/4 to 1/3 of the product remains in the bottle after the dispenser will not pump anymore out. It has a non- removeable top so the remaining product cannot be accessed and I end up throwing it away with foundation remaining inside the bottle. Packaging could be improved to avoid paying for product that you cannot use

      By GrandmaBunny

Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

I use a sponge to apply this and it goes on very nicely. You can build on it for problem areas and it blends easily. Coverage is medium as stated and I like that it is not a flat, dead-looking matte. I have used a "brightener" for the better part of a year and think they should call those products a "whitener" because I look rather pale. This color of foundation may be a tad too light so I may go one shade darker or mix them. I am soon to be 67 and fortunately, I have used a moisturizer for at least 40 years and am grateful I did so. No matter what ladies, keep it up!

Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

I usually love loreal products and am a loyal customer for many years, but I am very disappointed in this product. It does not stay in place, doesn't last, exedurates pores and fine lines and bilds white lines under the eyes. I am very disappointed.

Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

Finally, I have found the right product for my maturing skin. The foundation goes on so smoothly and covers " just right" without looking like a mask. I can start the day looking refreshed and it will carry me until I take it off. This will be my "go to" product from now on.

Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

PROS: Good in my big pores and wrinkles compared to other ones I've tried (35 in total). Inexpensive compared to high-end. Lasts very well on me. I would call it between a demi matte and satin finish, but it's not drying on my combo skin and it doesn't highlight dry flakes at all, like most mattes and even most satins do on me. It's just like my skin; that's what I would call the "finish." Comes in a pump so you won't contaminate it it with fingers. Doesn't get "dewy" later like even MAC Pro Longwear and MUFE HD will on me. Has pink and yellow and even some beige tones for neutrals like me. SPF17. Buildable.

CONS: You can't take too long to apply it because it dries a little fast. Probably not for those who like a dewy or super-matte finish. I don't believe in any "lifting" claims, but that's not why I bought it, anyway. I just wish cosmetic companies would realize we can get our anti-aging products in our skin care choices. (I have to combine two colors to get my exact tone.)

APPLICATION TIPS: I use Monistat chafing gel (or L'oreal's magic perfecting primer for a slightly more matte finish) tapped into my pores/wrinkles beforehand, letting it set a few minutes before applying the foundation. (Those two help a lot with my pores and helps the foundation to last longer ). I also like to put just a drop of grapeseed oil (it's a very light oil) mixed into my foundation before applying. (It's a crazy sounding idea, but it truly creates a magical finish that doesn't look greasy. I got the tip from makeup artist Wayne Goss on youtube. But do know that I'm combination/dry. It probably would not be good for someone who is oily or wants a matte finish.) I use a soft blending brush, like Sonia Kashuk's core synthetic blending brush, to apply and blend.

Love the coverage but tends to look a bit thick in wrinkly areas above the jaw line beneath the sides of my mouth.

Fantastic smooth silky coverage, exceptional wear too. Loreal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation is a wonderful foundation, GREAT solid coverage, silky smooth application, and blending is simple because of the serum in it. It can be used anytime, anywhere. Love it, and you will too!

Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

I started using this makeup after my daughter commented on how bad the clinique makeup looked on me. After I tried this brand I was hooked because it made my skin glow and looked flawless. I am now 59 and people comment on how good my skin is. On mothers day we get facials and the woman even commented on the great skin I have. I am glad I made the change because I have even tried high end makeup and don't get the results I do with this product.

I like this product but hate the bottle because when it get low you can't get the make-up out which is a big waste of make-up. Go back to regular bottle with a twist lid.
