You need very little of this product as it blends well and covers even better. I was doubtful and then I put it on to help cover up the dark circles under my eyes and I was completely blown away! I will continue to purchase this product and use Laura Geller products.

when first applied it looks great but within minutes you can see it settle into the fine lines and the color fades away leaving dark circles noticeable. it's not the worst concealer but not the best either. i have yet to find a concealer that works miracles lol.

Comments about Laura Geller The Real Deal Concealer:

I have a deep olive skin tone and have been searching everywhere for a concealer that could hide my acne scars. I only have about 4 or 5 but they are somwhat big and very noticeable (way way darker than my skin tone). After watching a Wayne Goss review on youtube where he covers a tattoo I decided to try this out even though it was tiny and a bit pricey for me but it is truely incredibly amazing. I got tons of compliments on my skin and barley used any of the product, a little really does go a long ways. It's a bit thick but it's not oily and it stays on all day. The only down side is that there is only a few shades to choose from but I guess that's because it's only meant to be used as a concealer. Anyway this is my new all time favorite concealer, do you selve a favor and try it out. It's well worth the price.

I love this concealer because it's definitely full coverage for my oily, acne scarred face. I think it's just a bit TOO cakey but I honestly don't care cuz it still holds throughout the day and it's not very uncomfortable. Really like it!

Comments about Laura Geller The Real Deal Concealer:

Great product and great coverage. The consistency is very thick so a little goes a long way. To work with the product best I would say to do a few thin layers of what you're trying to cover, which will give better coverage and be more blendable. I think it's water resistant and it's pretty good about it because when I wash my face with an acne cleanser I'm still left with some of the makeup on. Better mainly for discoloration and acne rather than dark circles under eyes

This product came highly recommended to cover tattoos. What application techniques would you advise for best results? Also is concealer sweat/water resistant?

This concealer is water resistant. It is designed to last a really long time! To cover a tattoo, I would recommend applying in lots of light layers. Apply a thin layer to cover, let it dry, and then apply again. Repeat these steps until you reach the coverage you desire. I also recommend finishing with a light foundation powder or translucent powder to set it. Once you follow these steps you'll see that this concealer will cover anything you desire! Enjoy!

I purchased this concealer in the light shade, despite the obvious shade mismatch. I have light-medium skin with pink undertones. The light is too light for me, but the medium is dark and way too yellow. How can I make this product work for me??

Have you tried mixing the two shades together? As a makeup artist, I often have to mix shades to to find a perfect match for my clients. It sounds like the mixture of light and medium would be perfect for you! If mixing shades is not ideal, we do offer another concealer that has six shades called Bakes Radiance Cream Concealer. The light in this lineup is darker than the the real deal's light and also sounds like it could work! You can also try setting the concealer with some foundation powder to bring it back to the shade that is going to match your skin tone perfectly. Enjoy!

Is this the only concealer made by Laura Geller? Sometime ago I read a magazine article listing the top 5 best concealers and Laura Gellars was in the top 5 but I can not recall the specific one. I have always had the darkest undereye circles I have ever seen on anyone due to heredity, making me look so much older than I am.I have always had people ask"Are you sick"? Is this the best you have for coverage? Do you think the Tarte concealer is better for the worst cases of "black eyes"? Thank you for your advice and opinion.

We currently make a couple different concealer and we are about to launch a new one (yay!), however The Readl Deal Concealer is a true fan favorite and this is our concealer with the fullest coverage. It was most likely the concealer in the article, as it has a cult following! It's designed to cover virtually anything, and especially undereye darkness. I highly recommend giving it a try. Enjoy!

Hello, this concealer will give you the most coverage that you can find! It is meant to cover extreme under eye darkness, so I would definitely recommend giving it a try. The deepest shade we offer at Ulta and on ulta.com is medium/deep, which is great for lighter skinned African Americans and people with a rich, olive complexion. We do offer this product on laurageller.com in a shade called deep which might work better for your complexion if you are on the deeper end of the spectrum. Perhaps start with the medium/deep and then take it from there! Enjoy!

                  A:

This is the perfect concealer to use if you need to cover areas that are dry. It is an extremely creamy formula and contains vitamin A, C, & E. So it will glide on the skin so smoothly and will also add some slight hydration. All of our makeup works best over the Spackle Under Makeup Primer, so I would suggest trying our Spackle Hydrating. This will add a ton of hydration to the completion and will hold your makeup on and keep it looking fresh all day long. Enjoy!

Definitely go with the medium. This product seems to run on the lighter side, so the medium should be perfect. It'll still give you the coverage you need, yet it will add a slight brightening effect under your eyes adding light and brightness. Enjoy!

Yes! This concealer is designed to cover anything from stubborn acne, uneven skin tone, heavy under eye darkness, and even tatoos. A very little bit goes an extremely long way- so start with just a pin drop and diffuse the product around any problem areas. You can use your finger or a concealer brush to do this. It is buildable, so you can use another layer if more coverage is desired, however you should be ok with just one small layer diffused throughout the face. It'll look very natural and it WILL cover! Enjoy!

Definitely go with light. The fair has a lot of pink in it, and you'll find more yellow in the light. It'll do a great job at covering under eye darkness, and it'll also brighten up the entire eye area. Remember- a little but goes a long way. Just use a drop! Enjoy!

                  A:

You can set with a powder if you prefer, but you don't have to. Application method helps with the concealer settling into your lines. Try using your ring finger to lightly work the product onto the skin that is under your eyes. Gently pat and press as opposed to swipe and wiping. When you press, the creasing will disappear and should only happen once. Setting it with powder will help too, but I recommend using Laura Geller's baked balance-n-brighten. This powder starts it's life as a cream and is then baked to form a powder. Because of it's creamy consistency, it will not settle into lines like typical powders can. Enjoy!
