Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

When I first bought this product I hated it. I thought it made no difference and offered poor coverage. This changed after I used it a few times and realized it gives a nice natural glow. The coverage is sheer, but this works well for me on the weekends. Since it is a powder, you will need to use with a primer to make it last. I have become a huge fan of primers as they make my makeup last all day. If you want a natural look, I recommend this product.

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

Great product is you have normal skin, I was told by the associate this would be better than bare minerals for my sensitive skin but obviously she lied to make a sale out of me, very disappointed. I don't wear make up so I didn't know what products to use or what color matches best, I've heard good things about bare minerals which is what I came in for but the associate had me convinced with this product, my mistake.

I have been using Clinique foundation for years & liked it, but was always looking for something lighter it(not in color but in weight). I bought this to go over the Laura Geller take cover anti-aging foundation spf20 w/ skin defense complex (both of these at the suggestion of the sales lady) and love it. It came in a set with blush, eye shadow and lip gloss.

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

This is my absolute new holy grail foundation! I have combination oily skin, and I use the Fair shade, which I would say is great for light skin with a neutral to warm undertone. In combination with Spackle (I used the one with SPF) I get a good 12 hour wear. It simply looks beautiful. My skin is glowing, but the texture is matte. Never looks cakey and never separates. I get a lot of compliments on how fresh and young my skin looks which is always a plus! I feel like you don't have to use much product to get a nice light to medium coverage, however if you're looking for full coverage, this is definitely not the right product for you. I haven't used it on top of a liquid foundation, but I'm sure with a light hand it would make a great finishing powder. I apply this with a Real Techniques Stippling brush, gives a really nice airbrushed finish.

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

Foundation/BB Creams had begun to sit on my face like batter so it was time for a change.

Examining the state of my skin, all I needed was a pore primer, highlighter and a good balance powder and I could have the natural looking face of my dreams (and drop an extra two minutes from my morning routine).

This powder brings the thunder, lightning and compliments.

It may be pricey, but it does exactly what it's named - balance and brighten. You pay for the simplicity instead of trying to do alchemy with lesser products.

My skin has a yellow undertone, but it's extremely light. The lightest colors available here have pink or neutral undertones that look off. Are there other colors available or is it this limited?

I would recommend trying the Balance and Brighten in Fair. This has yellow undertones and should compliment your undertones as well. It is pretty light and is forgiving because it's infused with up to 7 different shades in each compact. So even if he color isn't perfect, you won't have a line under your jaw and it'll blend perfectly in with the rest of your coloring. Enjoy!

This foundation does a very good job at lasting. However, no matter what makeup you use, the natural oils in our skin want to suck everything through so you may find that you'll need to do a touch up half way through the day. I highly suggest trying our Spackle Under Makeup Primer! This creates a barrier between your skin and whatever makeup you use on top, so the makeup sits on the primer and does not sink into the skin. It will hold any makeup on and keep it looking fresh all day long! Try the Spackle Mattefying- our newest primer designed for oily skin :)

Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation is matte; however, because of its color-correcting swirls of pigment, it works wonderfully to brighten and even your complexion and add a youthful glow.

                        A:

If you consider yourself a level one on the skin tone spectrum (porcelain, light, or fair) then I would definitely recommend trying the porcelain. If you're more of a level two (medium to tan), then try the medium. Because these products are so forgiving, if you're a true fair, you will be able to go a shade lighter or a shade darker without having that line of demarkation under the jaw. I do think that if the fair is making you too red, trying another shade will certainly help! You can also try our Spackle Neutralizer before you apply the Balance-n-Brighten. This will start to eliminate any redness that may already be in the skin, and it will hold your makeup on and keep it looking fresh all day long! Enjoy!

Hello! The foundation in this collection does contain Jojoba Seed Oil, however this type of oil is extremely lightweight and non-greasy. It is often used to treat acne and moisturize the skin. It soothes, conditions, moisturizes, softens, and does not clog pores. You will absolutely love this collection!

Balance-n-Brighten is meant to color correct and provide all over coverage, and Bronze-n-Brighten is not. Use Balance-n-Brighten if you want an all over even skin tone, and to cut away any redness or skin discolorations. If this is your goal, use the color that is most like your natural skin tone. Use Bronze-n-Brighten if you want an all over warm, natural, bronze glow. This can be used all over the face, or we recommend using it on the high points of the face to contour, such as cheek bones, forehead, and chin.
